We are partnering with a leading global packaged foods manufacturer to hire a Lean Manufacturing Changeover Specialist. This individual will play a critical role in improving changeover performance for a high-volume snack bar production platform.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with platform teams, production floor personnel, FSQ partners, and site leadership to identify improvement opportunities, reduce changeover time, and enhance overall operating efficiency—without compromising safety or product quality.
This is a hands-on, highly flexible role ideal for someone energized by continuous improvement, experimentation, equipment learning, and applying lean principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.
Job Description
The Lean Manufacturing Changeover Specialist will own the identification, analysis, and execution of changeover improvement initiatives. You will leverage lean tools—such as process mapping, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and structured experimentation—to uncover and eliminate inefficiencies.
When not directly supporting changeovers, you will investigate current cleaning practices, gain deep equipment knowledge, explore improvement opportunities, and design trials to validate enhancements. During active production changeovers, you will be on the floor partnering with operators and team leads to execute experiments, measure success, and implement approved process changes.
Key Accountabilities
Changeover Reduction Ownership
- Identify opportunities to improve current changeover practices.
- Determine longest-lead tasks and develop process standards.
- Partner with team leads to optimize resource allocation.
- Design pre-changeover preparation strategies.
- Coach teams in treating changeovers with the same rigor as production, including scheduling, resource planning, and issue escalation.
- Create best-practice methods for clearing longest-lead items.
- Collaborate with FSQ partners to determine risk rankings and cleaning requirements.
- Build understanding across teams about why each cleaning task is performed.
- Identify and eliminate over-cleaning where appropriate.
- Create or update standard task flows to accelerate changeovers while maintaining safety and effectiveness.
- Identify pain points and investigate the underlying reasons for cleaning tasks.
- Explore equipment, process, or tooling changes that simplify cleaning.
- Evaluate potential capital investments and present recommendations to engineering.
- Implement viable non-capital improvements.
- Conduct responsible, data-backed experiments to validate new ideas.
- Benchmark cleaning and changeover practices from other sites or industries.
- Incorporate best practices from non-traditional sources (e.g., dental cleaning tools, vehicle detailing processes, automated wash systems).
- Adapt external insights to develop safer, faster, more effective internal cleaning methods.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Technical field preferred) and at least 5 years of related manufacturing experience
- High school diploma and at least 10 years of related manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of manufacturing data systems (e.g., asset management, storeroom systems, quality tracking, ERP, safety/environmental systems)
- Demonstrated ability to apply foundational manufacturing systems and utilize operational standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to coach teams, utilize standards, and apply continuous improvement principles

About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will set, own, and elevate the standards that guide product and process quality. You will develop and communicate site quality policies, lead and coach a quality team, and maintain a compliant and effective quality management system aligned to ISO 9001 and AS9100. Responsibilities
- You will establish and socialize quality standards and procedures so products and processes meet defined benchmarks.

Qualifications
- You hold a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality with demonstrated ownership of site or business unit results.

- You are fluent in ISO 9001 and ideally AS9100 and comfortable producing and maintaining core quality documentation such as PPAP, control plans, process flows, FMEAs, MSA and gage studies, and SPC.

About This Role Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and ensure a successful sale of our products. This role is field-based and will require gaining access to customers in a clinic or hospital setting while also maximizing the ability to engage through digital channels.
SAMs will be responsible for product performance at a territory level and expected to be a disease category expert and product champion. The SAM will provide account management support and exhibit business knowledge of the local landscape to assess key stakeholders plus future trends within the marketplace.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
- Develop a comprehensive and effective territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding quarterly & annual goals established by commercial leadership

Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the operations of specific medical programs, patient clinics or company initiatives in partnership with operations dyad partner(s). Ensure a boots-on-ground presence in all supported clinics on a weekly basis.
- Provides financial leadership and business management education to physicians and other clinicians in a 1:1 or group setting for all supported providers on a monthly cadence.
- Provides leadership coaching and developmental feedback to physicians and other clinicians.
- Collaborate with Medical and Operations Leadership to implement an infrastructure and system in place to measure quality and provide timely data to physicians and other clinicians on their performance. Implement measurable quality indicators.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of physicians, other clinicians, and support staff, with ongoing management, to meet the needs of the departments/clinics.
- Performs Annual Performance Reviews for direct reports and gives feedback to other leaders for their direct reports.
- Directs and integrates the activities of projects; ensuring the project efforts are generally cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting the Medical Group’s mission, goals, and strategic plan.
- Represents the department to internal and external communities, business and industry, government, and the general community on a as needed basis.
- Promote and enhance the image of The Group, the department and participate in appropriate professional and academic organizations.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise.

The Certified Surgical Tech First Assist (CSTFA) will provide essential support to the surgical team by evaluating and coordinating activities during surgical procedures. Perform pre and post-operative activities to facilitate optimal patient care. Works closely with surgeons in the operating room during a surgical procedure. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and during an operation, assist the surgeon with tasks such as selecting equipment, holding open incisions, stopping bleeding, closing the incision, among other technical tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals including anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
Positioning the patient for surgery and aiding with draping
Clearing the area where the surgeon will operate and holding open incisions by using tissue retractors, sponges, or operating
suction or irrigation equipmentSelecting and passing instruments and supplies during an operation
Stopping bleeding by sponging, clamping, tying, or cauterizing vessels, or suturing tissue layers as directed by the surgeon
Applying dressings to surgical wounds
Counting sponges, needles, and other materials before and after the operation
Closing the incision at the end of the procedure
Follow facility protocol and policy as well as other state and federal laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required and completion of an accredited surgical first assistant program. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Surgical Tech. Preferred experience as a CSFA or SA-C in diverse surgical specialties and proficiency with robotic and minimally invasive surgical
techniques.
Certifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) required.
BLS - Basic Life Support required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
