Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Compliance & Program Management

• Lead environmental compliance programs related to stormwater and air quality regulations for industrial and government facilities
• Ensure compliance with EPA, state environmental agencies, and federal regulations, including the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Clean Air Act (CAA)
• Develop, implement, and maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans
• Oversee NPDES permitting, compliance monitoring, sampling, and regulatory reporting
• Manage Title V and minor source air permits, emissions standards, and compliance requirements

Stormwater Management

• Lead stormwater compliance programs for industrial and government sites
• Conduct site inspections, outfall monitoring, and stormwater sampling
• Develop corrective action plans and implement Best Management Practices (BMPs)
• Support stormwater infrastructure planning, including drainage systems, retention ponds, and treatment systems
• Prepare Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) and other regulatory documentation

Air Quality Management

• Manage air quality permitting and compliance programs
• Prepare air emission inventories and regulatory reports
• Coordinate stack testing, emissions monitoring, and compliance audits
• Implement pollution control strategies and continuous compliance improvement initiatives

Government Contract Support (SLED & Federal)

• Support environmental services contracts with state agencies, municipalities, universities, and federal organizations
• Ensure projects meet contract requirements, regulatory standards, and reporting deliverables
• Coordinate with contracting officials and agency representatives
• Contribute to proposal development and technical documentation for government bids

Leadership & Project Management

• Manage and mentor environmental technicians, scientists, and consultants

Client Engagement & Advisory

Required Skills / Education:

Required Qualifications

About the role:

Based in Washington, DC this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of combined experience in perioperative informatics, surgical services leadership, or as an OR nurse/technologist with significant "super user" or implementation experience.

Oracle Health/Cerner Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform. Specific expertise in SurgiNet, Anesthesia Management, Preference Card Management, and CareAware is required.

Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in perioperative workflows, sterile processing, preference card management, surgical billing/charging, and resource management.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical teams and senior clinical/surgical leadership.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A clinical background and license (e.g., RN, CST) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities A Communications Lead is required with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in developing communication strategies and executing communications programs in alignment with agency objectives. The communications lead should have specific experience in leading communications, advertising, marketing, or change management projects with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction to project teams, supporting the completion of project-specific tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints. • Experience leasing space in data centers is a big plus.
• Experience with industrial or infrastructure construction a plus.
