Our ownership group is 100% physician owned and we took over operations of the ER 2 weeks ago. We are a small standalone ER looking to increase patient volume.
We are looking for an energetic, outgoing individual, who has experience with business development and event coordination responsibilities in healthcare settings. We prefer someone who has previous experience marketing to physicians, NP/PAs, and front office staff.
Job Description
The Business Development and Marketing Manager (BDMM) is responsible for optimizing patient ER utilization by educating and informing stakeholders, to include physicians, ER staff, other health care entities, employers, and the community, as applicable, about the services offered and the most efficient ways to access those services for their patients, members, employees, and other constituents.
The BDMM will be responsible for maintaining a pipeline of prospective business, tracking all efforts and activities, and providing reports regularly to leadership.
The BDMM will be hosting on site marketing events bi-monthly (at minimum), which will require coordination with event vendors, digital marketing, and promotion of the event through various channels.
The BDMM works closely with medical staff, front office staff, facility administrator, and the CEO to effectively expand utilization of services and affiliated physicians. Must be able to travel within a 15 mile radius of the site on a regular basis.
Responsibilities :

* Develop and execute effective business development and marketing strategies to grow patient volume and new business for the facility.
* Maintains current data on market area, competitors, and marketing strategies
* Proactively seeks out opportunities to develop business and capitalizing on market opportunities that are presented or enhancing existing business through established relationships.
* Works in conjunction with clinical leadership and corporate to develop and promote new programs and services.
* Aligns with leadership team and corporate to ensure accountability for growth expectations.
* Participates in community and organizational programs to promote professional growth and understanding of operations.
* Coordinates all marketing and business development activities such events, sponsorships, networking, and community involvement.
* Coordinates with the corporate marketing team to develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience :

* A minimum of 2 years' experience (prefer 5+ years) in Business Development experience required - Working in healthcare preferred.
* A minimum of 1 year in healthcare marketing (ideal is 5+ years)
* Willing to work in a flexible environment.
* Able to develop strategic plans for building lasting partnerships.
* Exceptional presentation skills.
* Active driver's license/insurance and reliable transportation.
* Social Media and Computer Savvy!!!
