Position Summary
The Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support Midland Industries’ inventory, purchasing, and sales planning processes. This role analyzes historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, and customer demand patterns to create reliable forecasts that optimize inventory levels and ensure product availability across Midland’s distribution network.
The Demand Planner works cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Product Management, and Operations to improve forecast accuracy, reduce excess inventory, and support Midland’s service level goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Forecasting
- Utilize Demand planning tool to provide insights and forecasts to the business.
- Develop and maintain monthly demand forecasts at the product, category, and regional levels.
- Analyze historical sales data, trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts to generate accurate forecasts.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models.
Inventory Optimization
- Partner with purchasing and supply chain teams to align demand forecasts with inventory planning.
- Identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving items.
- Lead excess and obsolete inventory initiatives to action it with business leadership support (cost reductions or dispose of it).
- Recommend inventory adjustments to support service level targets and working capital goals.
- Evaluate DC specific turns and reprofile inventory across the North America DC network to best optimize service levels to our customer base.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Participate in the monthly S&OP process by providing demand insights and forecast updates.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and leadership to incorporate market intelligence into forecasts.
- Lead demand consensus meetings with Sales, and Product Management.
- Present demand outlook and risks to internal stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintain forecasting systems, dashboards, and reports to track demand trends and forecast accuracy.
- Conduct variance analysis between forecast and actual sales.
- Provide insights on demand drivers, product lifecycle changes, and market trends.
- Manage inventory reporting and forecasting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales and Product teams to understand upcoming promotions, product launches, and customer demand shifts.
- Communicate forecast changes to purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting tools, processes, and data quality.
- Support system enhancements related to demand planning, inventory planning, and ERP forecasting tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, inventory planning, or forecasting.
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or industrial products preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems and forecasting tools.
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Assists with the setup, renewal, and management of preventive maintenance contracts within company systems.

Benefits and Compensation:
- The range for this position has been established at $24 to $34 per hour and is U.S. Engineering - Service's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. Compensation for this role includes a base salary complemented by commission opportunities based on the Account Manager’s individual sales performance and attainment of sales targets

We are seeking an experienced Construction Qualification & Insurance Compliance Manager to administer the Company’s pre-qualification status and subcontractor insurance compliance in accordance with contractual obligations, company risk standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role supports risk mitigation by ensuring subcontractors and vendors meet all qualification and insurance conditions prior to and throughout project performance. This role will also be responsible for the registration and administration of the company as a foreign entity in multiple states, filing of annual reports with various Secretary of States, prequalifying the company to bid work with General Contractors, State Department of Transportations and Contractor Boards, management of pre-qualification software’s for subcontractors, and file and maintain business licenses. Ensures the company retains the ability to bid on work across the United States. Assists the operational team with specific needs related to upcoming bids.

We are seeking a FORGE Fatherhood Facilitator to join our team. The University of Kansas School of Social Welfare (KUSSW) and its partner, Cornerstones of Care, will develop and deliver the project, Family Opportunity, Resilience, Grit, Engagement - Fatherhood (Kansas FORGE Fatherhood). Kansas FORGE Fatherhood will serve fathers and father-figures raising a child by improving outcomes in healthy relationships, parenting practices, economic stability, and receive support in accessing community resources to long-term success.
The FORGE Fatherhood Facilitator works under the direction of the Manager of FORGE Fatherhood Project and is responsible for delivering the proposed program model, which includes the evidence-based Strengthening Father Involvement (SFI) curriculum, the evidence-informed financial program Money Habitudes (MH), and individualizing training based on participant's goals and needs as identified in case management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting the Manager of FORGE Fatherhood Project with outreach, referrals, and participant engagement strategies.
- Facilitate workshops, creating a supportive, culturally responsive, and flexible learning environment for fathers
- Ensure program implementation supports methods for fathers to work collaboratively with spouses or co-parents.
- Apply evidencebased strategies to effectively engage fathers and increase program completion and retention.
- Monitor participant progress, document required information, and ensure all forms and processes are completed accurately and on time.

We are seeking a Therapeutic Education Assistant to join our team.
Starting Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly
The Therapeutic Education Assistant role will be responsible for providing classroom management in a small special education classroom using techniques to promote learning. As a member of the Education team, you will collaborate with other team members and report to the Dean of Students.

We are seeking an Intensive In-Home Services/Intensive Family Reunification Services Specialist (IIS/IFRS) to join our team. Your role will work intensively in the family's home to teach them the specific skills they need to safely remain together, such as problem-solving, crisis management, parenting, communication, budgeting, home maintenance, life skills, and more. You will be responsible for connecting families to community resources to help stabilize them and increase their support system. As a member of the IIS/IFRS team, you will work with 8 other team members, report to our Manager IIS/IFRS and support Jackson County.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Carries 2-3 cases at all times, seeing each family in the home an average of 8-10 hours per week (for IIS) and 8-10 hours per week (for IFRS) during the 4-6-week IIS intervention or the 8- 12-week IFRS intervention.
- Available 24/7 to help families with crises or conflicts that might arise.
- Provide in-home support to stabilize families in crisis, utilize de-escalation skills, prevent child abuse/neglect, prevent out-of-home placements, and facilitate family reunification.

We are seeking a Family Resiliency Navigator to join our team.
Starting Salary: $40,000 Annually

This role is an integral part of an innovative mental health program in Jackson County. The Family Resiliency Navigator (FRN) is the first point of contact for families. You will support families through intake and initial assessment of resources including referral to the therapists on the team. Provide individualized trauma informed care to meet ongoing individual and family mental health needs as well as advocacy and wrap around case management services that will support/coordinate access to appropriate community-based services Also crisis support for children and families. The Family Resiliency Navigator (FRN) reports to the Clinical Manager of School Based Services and works in home, in community, in office and virtually to address personal, emotional and social problems that interfere with client's adjustment and promote overall success for long term well-being. Clients and families will be supported utilizing the Solution Based Case-work model. This position is a full-time twelve (12) month position per year.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- List Respond to requests for services and referrals to the program to determine need.
- Timely scheduling of intake to assess individual and/or family needs.
- Conduct needs assessment of clients.
- Coordinate any supportive services and resources that children and families may need
- Continually analyze and assess each family and child situation on an individual basis through the use of Solution Based Casework both for ongoing mental health support and to develop recommendations regarding supportive services and resources that each child and family may need, such as educational plans, medical, psychiatric and psychological assessments, therapy, independent living skills, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

- A master's degree in social work, human services, drug and alcohol, education, counseling, psychology, or criminal justice, preferred
