Job Description
The Food Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and communicate in a friendly, courteous manner to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Receive and accurately process food and beverage orders using the computerized guest check system
- Retrieve prepared orders from the kitchen and deliver them promptly to guests
- Safely carry and balance trays and push carts containing food and beverages (approximately 20 to 30 pounds) throughout the kitchen and dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dining room areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Present checks to guests, process payments, and deliver payment to the cashier or process transactions as directed
- Respond promptly to guest requests and address any concerns or special needs during their dining experience
- Six (6) months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 20-30 pounds. Must be able to communicate in English.
- Utilize computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

We are seeking a Consulting Lead with experience in strategy, transformation or advisory consulting (for example from a Big4 or strategy consulting background) to help design and deliver complex programmes, operating models and strategic initiatives for our clients.
The role focuses on providing practical consulting support to organisations tackling complex strategic, operational and innovation challenges. This includes helping organisations define strategy, design effective operating models, deliver transformation programmes and strengthen governance and delivery structures.
A key part of the role will involve working at the intersection of innovation and policy, helping organisations understand and harness emerging and frontier technologies such as AI, cyber, quantum, biotechnology and advanced digital capabilities.
The successful candidate will be able to structure complex problems, analyse evidence and develop clear, practical recommendations for senior stakeholders. Experience working within or supporting organisations operating in one or more of the following areas:
- Emerging Technology & Innovation: Experience working within innovation ecosystems or technology-driven environments, particularly across emerging or frontier technologies such as AI, cyber, quantum, biotechnology or advanced digital capabilities.
- Public Safety: Public safety or emergency services organisations.
- Policing: Policing or law enforcement environments.
- Home Affairs: Home affairs, homeland security or border-related organisations.
- Defence: Defence or national security environments.
- Higher Education degree, or equivalent knowledge gained via work experience.
- Interest in innovation, technology and emerging sectors (e.g. AI, cyber, quantum, biotechnology, IoT)
- Comfortable working in a collaborative consulting environment with changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work through ambiguity
- Resilient and able to remain focused while managing complex programmes and challenges
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills when working across teams and stakeholders
- This role may require some national travel for delivery of projects and travel to all Plexal sites.

We are seeking a Manager of Kinship Family Advocate to join our team.
Starting Salary: $ 56,000 Annually

This role is responsible for the supervision of the Kinship Family Advocates. The Manager of Kinship Family Advocates ensures service compliance with contract/licensing/funding body/accreditation requirements. The Kinship Advocate Team is responsible for engaging relatives who have taken their relative children into their homes. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Kinship and Adoption.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supervise a team of Kinship Family Advocates.
- Provide back-up supervision to team members (as needed) in the absence of other team supervisors as assigned by the Senior Manager of Kinship and Adoption.
- Review, approve, and sign outgoing documents generated by the Kinship Family Advocates such as home studies, etc.
- Monitor the team's documentation, completion of forms, and outcomes.

- Monitor and track staff attendance and approve time off requests

We are seeking a Manager of Performance Improvement to join our team. Your role will ensure quality services are being provided to the children and families throughout Cornerstones of Care by working with program leaders of all levels by analyzing data to report progress and performance trends. As a member of the Admin PQI team, you will work with other team members and report to our Senior Director of Performance Excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assists with the development and monitoring of basic dashboards, and other performance reporting tools, and routinely updates compliance reports that monitor organization performance, outcomes, quality, safety, health, and finance for the organization.
- Partners with program teams to use data within the Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) framework, including informing and refining logic models, understanding trends and variation, and supporting continuous learning and improvement rather than compliance-only reporting.
- Compile, analyze, and share results and trends for quarterly reports for assigned programs, committees, and initiatives to report outputs and outcomes on performance measures and assist with internal programmatic benchmarking opportunities.
- Initiate/participate in meetings with all levels of staff to process the results of performance reports and share data trends to support reflection, decision-making and improvement planning.

We are seeking a Residential Learning Manager to join our team. - Full Time Bell Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest: The Specimen Processing Technician is a position within the clinical laboratory and microbiology that is responsible for managing specimens once they arrive in the department and handling multiple pre-analytical variables.
Depending on the area of the lab, this may include, but are not limited to: positive patient identification, correct tube types, specimen conditions and integrity and how they affect laboratory results.
The Specimen Processing Technician accepts samples in the laboratory and performs tasks including releasing orders out of the Hospital Information System (HIS), receiving specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS), and processing specimens to include aliquoting and preparation for the automation line.
The specimen Processing Technician troubleshoots specimen and order issues and communicates with care providers across the Health System.
The Specimen Processing Technician working in Microbiology is responsible for performing pre-analytic functions such as: specimen receipt, sterile processing, specimen manipulation including sonication and tissue grinding, determination of appropriate culture media for different specimen types and plating.
The Specimen Processing Technician follows regulatory, accreditation, safety and hospital standards, policies and procedures, and participates in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Creates Registration encounters, releases orders out of HIS when indicated; receives samples in LIS; prints barcode labels and affixes labels to specimens.
Completes order entry functions or paperwork as required.
Ensures proper container type, centrifugation, specimen sterility, and transport conditions for specimens.
Ensures positive patient identification, correct specimen collection and handling/transport; performs specimen processing duties and prioritizes based on urgency Ensures the specimen and orders received are appropriate for requested testing.
Prioritizes specimens based on clinical urgency.
- Performs specimen processing duties including but not limited to: aliquoting urine and body fluid samples, supply storage, Kanban supply, inventory monitoring and storing patient samples appropriately.
In Microbiology, uses sterile techniques to handle, manipulate, and inoculate specimens on to culture media, including but not limited to determination of selecting the correct culture media based on specimen, order and protocols, sterile aliquoting, sonification and tissue grinding.
Assists in pathology specimen preservation, by adding formalin to specimens, and/or paging residents or providers as needed.
Fields inquiries and communicates information in written and verbal formats.
Answers the phone and provides customer service to internal and external customers following established standards.
Consults Specimen Processing Coordinator, supervisor or lab leadership when appropriate.
Assists other staff with processing questions or automation line issues.
Assists with training new hires, students, or medical students, if applicable.
Disposes of bio-hazardous materials, chemical waste, sharps and other potentially hazardous materials according to policy and strictly adheres to safety and infection control procedures.
Uses and wears PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as necessary to perform job duties safely and minimize risk.
Other duties as assigned.
