The Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment, as well as an assigned service vehicle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
- Perform production processes, demolition and other labor intensive tasks;
- Perform fire and water damage restoration, extracting standing water, demolition, etc.
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities;
- Set up staging area and placing equipment for each project.
- Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Communicate with restoration supervisor, other technicians, project manager, office and management personnel to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown.
- Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Removing and installation of carpet, padding, vinyl, and wood flooring is a plus!
- Patching sheetrock/drywall, taping, sanding, and painting is a plus!
- Removing and installing of floor molding is a plus!
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned and requested by management.
- Effective communication with basic math and computer skills; preferred
- Experience in cleaning/restoration; preferred
- IICRC certifications; preferred
- Valid drivers license; required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
- Previous experience cleaning, restoration, general labor or construction industry; preferred
- Ability to respond appropriately and interact positively with customers
- Must have a professional appearance and great attitude
- Capable to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Job Purpose
The Senior Water Restoration Technician is responsible for completing professional water damage restoration services for residential and commercial structures. This role utilizes state-of-the-art drying equipment and mobile technology to track, document, and confirm proper job completion while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water damage mitigation and restoration services as part of a team.
- Execute demolition and removal of water-damaged materials.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust specialty drying equipment to ensure proper drying conditions.
- Develop and execute effective drying plans based on job conditions.
- Complete daily job documentation, moisture readings, and billing information digitally.
- Meet with customers to explain the restoration process and provide clear communication throughout the project.
- Maintain quality service by following company standards, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate job progress, irregularities, and ongoing needs with management and team members.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, and industry publications.
- Contribute to team success by assisting with related tasks as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on water restoration experience

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
