Overview of Unit/Department
900 East is a 30-bed adult medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care for gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) surgical patients. We are also proud to be recognized as a Center of Excellence for bariatric surgery.
Our unit features a combination of private and semi-private rooms designed for comfort and healing. While we do not offer telemetry or cardiac monitoring, our dedicated team provides high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Nurse Assistant Training Program
- Job Summary
Functions within a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel. Generator Supercenter of Corpus Christi is hiring! We are the largest Generac Residential/ Light Commercial Generator Sales and Service Company in North America. We are looking to hire a somone interested in learning to become a generator technician so that they can become proficient with diagnostics and engine repairs. This position begins with maintaining Natural Gas and Propane fueled generators and completing basic maintenance such as changing air and oil filters, replacing spark plugs, and batteries and valve adjustments. Job SummaryFunctions within a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel. While in the clinical learning environment, will provide basic patient care under direction and supervision of clinical educator and nursing staff. During clinical rotation, may perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens and other duties within their scope of practice as directed. While in clinical setting, obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff or clinical educator and reports any changes in patient condition. At the end of the training, a competency assessment will be administered to validate learning.
