The Resolution Specialist Lead at Gifthealth is a key member of the Patient Support team, responsible for guiding the day-to-day activities of the Resolution Specialists. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching:

• Provide daily guidance and mentorship to the Resolution Specialist Call Center Team.
• Support team development through hands-on coaching, training, and feedback.
• Monitor performance metrics (e.g., call handling time, resolution quality, and accuracy) and conduct regular reviews with staff.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members.

Escalation Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for high-priority or sensitive patient escalations.

• Develop and implement scalable protocols for efficient handling of escalations.

Continuous Process Improvement:

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3 years in a patient support or customer service role, with at least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex patient or customer issues.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Zendesk, CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of pharmacy systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare or pharmacy operations and compliance is highly desirable.

Essential Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Customer Care Supervisor, a Customer Care Specialist is responsible for maintaining a positive, helpful attitude and approach in providing excellent customer service to all customers which includes; patients, clients, referral sources, physicians, sales representatives, and fellow coworkers.

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming phone calls and faxes, takes customers' orders for durable medical and respiratory equipment, repairs, supplies, and other miscellaneous items
• Maintains open communication with patients/clients and referral sources
• Responds to patient/client questions and problems
• Services walk in customers as needed
• Prepares intake, gathers all necessary information about referral, patient demographics, contact person, physician, diagnosis, discharge time and place, item(s) requested
• Gathers all necessary documentation, prior to delivery CMN, Rx, ABG, Care Plan, Auth, etc.
• Verifies medical necessity with physician
• Verifies eligibility and coverage with Insurance and carrier according to guidelines or contract
• Verifies payer (with matrix), obtains authorization, expiration date
• Verifies patient demographics and prior equipment usage with patient
• Informs patient of financial responsibilities: copay, share of cost, deductible, etc.
• Enters data and each order (new or otherwise) in system accurately and in a timely manner
• Processes closet and on call orders as received
• Enters notes in appropriate areas of insurance, general, and authorizations in the computer system
• Process orders to shipping or dispatching for Technician or RT deliveries

We are working with a well-established consulting firm located in Pittsburgh seeking to add a staff accountant to their close-knit accounting team. This is a newly created role with an initial focus on accounts receivable (AR) but will broaden over time to support other core accounting functions.

Position overview: This role will support a senior staff accountant and the broader team by managing AR-related tasks, month-end close responsibilities, and assisting with other accounting duties as needed.
