Position Overview:The Manager plays a key leadership role within MercyOne, guiding day‑to‑day departmental operations and upholding the highest clinical practice standards. Stay current with emerging clinical trends, technologies, and best practices.
Monitor staffing levels to balance exceptional care with financial responsibility.
Ensure clinical operations reflect current coding, billing, and reimbursement expectations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) plan.
Respond promptly to patient concerns, incident reports, and safety events.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accrediting, and licensing requirements.
Proactively identify and correct unsafe conditions.
Promote a culture of patient safety and accountability.
Champion MercyOne’s Mission, Vision, and Values through everyday actions and decisions.
Collaborate with physicians, staff, volunteers, and leaders across the organization.
Communicate effectively with the team—holding consistent staff meetings and sharing critical updates.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, or actively pursuing a BSN with completion expected within 3 years of hire.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in nursing leadership.
Current Iowa RN license required; Illinois RN license required if practicing in Illinois.
Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Job Summary:
The Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and will lead by example in all company operations. The Salon Director in Training fosters a sense of urgency to achieve objectives and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead by example in all company operations including creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
- Establishes clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
- Provides coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members' daily performance.
- Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
- Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
- Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
- Ability to work nights & weekends.
- Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.
Experience:
- Management and/or Sales experience required.
- Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
- Basic Computer skills (ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.

Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing.
Occupational Therapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team.
