Job Summary
Serving within the Research Faculty of the Institute, this position directly supports the extension, service, and economic development missions of Georgia Tech to the State of Georgia and beyond. Primarily this position provides entrepreneurial incubation and acceleration services to ATDC (Advanced Technology Development Center) member companies in strategic areas that foster development and encourage their growth. Georgia Tech EIRs (Entrepreneur-In-Residence) are comprised of seasoned entrepreneurs and/or angel investors with successful business backgrounds in order to help guide ATDC companies through high growth/funding stages. Incumbents in this role must possess recent early-stage startup experience serving in a leadership role as a startup founder, CEO, CFO, etc.

Responsibilities

After more than four years of planning and groundwork, the ambitious Tech Square Phase 3 (TS3) initiative is well underway. With two impressive towers at its core connected by a shared elevator, the TS3 project, slated to finish in 2026, encompasses 416,500 square feet and includes a large outdoor plaza for street-level retail.

About the Writing and Communication Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology
A unit of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC), WCP teaches over 6,000 students a year in first-year composition, business/technical communication, research writing, and learning support. Committed to excellent teaching and faculty professional development, WCP is the winner of multiple awards in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Job Summary
The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple Lecturer positions, effective August 1, 2026. Lecturers in the Writing and Communication Program teach a 3/3 in writing classes, pursue relevant research, and provide service to the Program and Institute. This is a faculty position with full benefits that is renewable annually. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
3. Current Iowa RN license, (current IL license if working in IL) required.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three (3) months of hire.
6. Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training is required within six (6) months of hire.
7. Specialty practice certification is preferred..

An industrial machine manufacturing company is seeking a part-time Office Administrator to join their office at their Wood Dale, IL location. This position is responsible for the daily administrative duties of the office, including record keeping, office supply management, basic AR/AP, etc., as well as for providing other general administrative support as needed.
*This is a part-time, non-exempt, W-2 contracted, onsite position.
**Schedule: 4 days per week, 9:00am – 3:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
Duties and Responsibilities of the Part-Time Office Administrator:
- Manage daily office administrative tasks including record keeping/filing, handling general business inquiries, coordination of meetings, etc.
- Maintain office supplies and communicate with vendors regarding new and current orders
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, AR/AP, and financial data entry
- Support logistics coordination for internal and client shipments
- Support Human Resources staff and Operations Managers with administrative documentation and meeting scheduling
- Prepare reports (e.g. sales reports, meeting minutes, etc.) and other internal documentation as needed
- Coordinate the logistics for onsite/remote meetings and manage calendars and scheduling
- Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Minimum Qualifications for the Part-Time Office Administrator:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources or similar field is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a manufacturing or construction-related industry
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with SAP/ERP system is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills in written / verbal English
- High attention to detail and comfortable handling tasks simultaneously

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the HR Director/Manager, assist, support, and administer a broad range of HR operational activities. Efficiently ensure that all transactions, actions, and monitoring are compliant and completed in a timely manner. Core functions will encompass employee lifecycle (pre-onboarding to termination) to transactional operations within our current HRIS as well as various HR audits, always maintaining regulatory compliance from an employment law perspective. Ensure communication, confidentiality and integrity are assured while processing sensitive personnel information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports and maintains a positive relationship between the HR department and our personnel
- Assists in the daily operations of employee life-cycle
- Conducts background checks with proper onboarding practice
- Follows-up with new hires and respective managers promptly
- Ensures that all onboarding activities are completed timely including I-9 management
- Provides guidance and counsel when needed with mid-level management on employee relations and HR matters
- LOA management assistance
- Compliance audits and proper recordkeeping procedures
- Collaborates closely with HR, Payroll and other functions as needed
- Performs HR ad-hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of experience in HR in a healthcare workforce environment preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- ADP Workforce Now knowledge and experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of confidentiality and proper business etiquette
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
