Position Overview
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic, operational, and intellectual leadership, ensuring that EHHI continues to produce high-quality research, translate science into policy, and effectively communicate findings to decision-makers and the public.
The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of the organization, including fundraising, program development, external relations, and organizational management, while serving as EHHI’s primary public representative.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Work closely with the Board to strengthen governance, planning, and to drive organizational growth and impact.
- Lead the development and implementation of EHHI’s strategic priorities in research, policy advocacy, and public engagement.
- Identify emerging environmental health issues and provide expert advice on how human health risks may be reduced or avoided.
- Engage with the Board to craft significant policy recommendations.
Fundraising
- Build long-term partnerships with new major donors, understanding their values and interests and matching them with EHHI initiatives.
- Introduce best practices in cultivation and stewardship for the current circle of individual donors
- Manage existing relationships with foundations funders; research new foundations that focus on various aspects of our work and write compelling proposals.
Financial Stewardship
- Oversee organizational operations, budgeting, and compliance in alignment with nonprofit best practices.
External Relations and Communications
- Serve as EHHI’s primary spokesperson with policymakers, funders, media, and partner organizations.
- Strengthen EHHI’s visibility and influence through public speaking, op-eds, testimony, and stakeholder engagement.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions, advocacy organizations, and public agencies.
Research and Policy Leadership
- The board will oversee research agenda, ensuring scientific rigor, credibility, and policy relevance.
- Translate complex scientific findings into clear, compelling, accessible policy recommendations and public communications.
- Represent EHHI in legislative, regulatory, academic, and coalition settings at the state and national levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- 7+ years of nonprofit leadership experience, including demonstrated success in major gifts and institutional giving.
- Graduate degree in public health, environmental science, or a related field preferred; candidates from law, government, or business with relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of budget creation and management.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders including researchers, public officials, donors, and impacted communities.

PURPOSE
Responsible for loading, transporting and delivering materials to customer sites. Adheres to driver safety/compliance regulations, delivers un-damaged goods on schedule, and provides professional service to customers. Non-CDL will drive vehicles weighing 10,001-26,000 pounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Loads and appropriately secures product, materials or supplies inside delivery vehicle.
Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site and unloads materials safely and accurately. Takes all precautions to protect the product and the customer's property.
Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including amounts and/or weights of items, mileage and locations of deliveries. Checks items against invoice to ensure order accuracy.
Acts as a customer service liaison between BFS and the site customer. Handles customer concerns and helps to resolve issues as they arise.
Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles; performs routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines.
Required to use hand held devices, except for while driving, to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS.
Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspection procedures.
May perform credit/product return pick-ups and related paperwork.
Operate a Forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment to load and off load materials to designated areas.
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

Position Title: Residential Project Manager
Reports To: VP of Residential Operations
Location: northside of Indianapolis area

We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to take on the role of Residential Project Manager. At Duke Homes, the Project Manager is the face of the company during construction; you will be coordinating trades, protecting quality, guiding clients, and ensuring each home reflects our commitment to timeless design and unwavering craftsmanship. This is a field-based Project Manager role responsible for full lifecycle execution of custom residential builds – both custom home and high-end renovation projects. Project Managers typically manage 3–5 custom homes simultaneously ranging from $800,000–$3,500,000.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Project Management: oversee and manage assigned residential construction projects from pre-construction stages to completion
- Oversee and update construction schedules for each project daily
- Ensure that performed work matches designs, specs, and other construction documents, and that workmanship is of high quality, meeting quality standards
- Communicate regularly with clients to keep them in the loop and to ensure decisions needed from them are made on time
- Manage project budget throughout, including coding invoices and capturing change order costs
- Plan and coordinate site logistics: daily coordination of subcontractors and material deliveries
- Schedule and prepare for required inspections
- Identify and resolve project risks or problems
- Create daily job logs for each project, with pictures.
- Prepare punch lists and follow up to ensure completion
2. Site Maintenance
- Ensure job sites remain safe and aligns with our safety guidelines
- Keep job sites clean, self-performing the cleaning if necessary
Supplemental Job Functions:
- Manage service cases as they arise
- Run and pickup supplies or items if necessary
- Assist other Project Managers if they need coverage while being out
- Be present at or help at company events if/when they occur

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- At least 7 years of experience in construction supervision/management roles
- Knowledge of major construction systems, products, and processes
- Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for residential construction
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g. BuilderTrend / Co-Construct)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable interacting with high-end clients
