Project Manager/ Estimator
Job Description
Project Manager / Estimator â Fire Sprinkler (On-Site) Compensation: $105Kâ$125K (DOE) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a strong background in fire sprinkler systems in Los Angeles, CA.
This on-site role is responsible for managing projects from bid through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities: Manage fire sprinkler projects from estimating through closeout Review construction documents, contracts, and specifications Prepare accurate bids and cost estimates based on plans and drawings Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system layout Estimate underground systems and seismic bracing Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and clients Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure smooth handoff to design/field teams Track project schedules, budgets, labor, and material costs Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation Ensure permits, submittals, and project records are accurate and up to date Communicate regularly with field teams to support execution Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator in fire sprinkler systems Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, installation, and construction processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings Experience with hydraulic calculations and estimating software/tools Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Work Environment: Fully on-site position
