Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Process Development Associate I (PDA I) provides scientific and technical support to the Process Development (PD) team. Working under direct supervision and guidance from senior PD staff, this role is responsible for executing defined laboratory tasks and established protocols to support process characterization and optimization activities. The PDA I contributes to the production of dopaminergic precursor cells (DANPCs) from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) by performing routine cell culture experiments, maintaining laboratory operations, and assisting with data collection and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under supervision, perform routine laboratory experiments following established protocols to support defined unit operations and process characterization studies. • Support PD study execution by assisting designated study leads with protocol preparation, daily cell culture maintenance, sample handling, and preparation for downstream testing activities.
• Perform cell culture activities using established aseptic techniques, including media preparation and routine culture maintenance, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Collect experimental data and assist with data organization, review, and documentation; contribute to summaries and reports under guidance.
• Maintain accurate and timely laboratory documentation in compliance with departmental and quality requirements.
• Prepare or help verify cell culture media preparation to support ongoing experiments within the PD team.
• Support cross functional activities by coordinating with teams such as Analytical Development, Manufacturing Operations, MSAT, Device, and Research as directed.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining laboratory inventory, including media, reagents, and consumables, and support material forecasting activities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a related scientific discipline is required.
• Entry level experience in academic research laboratories or a relevant industry setting is preferred.
• Cell Culture & Aseptic Technique: Foundational experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic laboratory techniques in an academic or industry setting.
• Protocol Adherence: Ability to follow established methods, procedures, and standard operating protocols with attention to detail and accuracy.

Summary
Research Support Services Coordinator I
The mission of Research Support Services (RSS) is to ensure research faculty have the equipment, space and logistics resources they need to be successful. A Research Support Services Coordinator I is primarily a research staff facing position, responsible for coordinating research support services related to research space, common equipment, ultra-low temperature storage units and participate during emergencies (i.e. Hurricanes).
The position will initially be based in the Research Support Services Department at our Magnolia Campus. Ultimately, the position will be located at Moffitt at Speros in Land O’Lakes, FL once the facility opens mid-July 2026.
Position Highlights:
- Provides customer service and support for research faculty, staff and vendors with guidance from the supervisor/manager
- Support research space activities by following lab modification SOPs for expansion, compression, start up and shut down of labs under the direction of the supervisor/manager
- Familiar with the operation, function and troubleshooting of a wide range of basic science research equipment while ensuring maintenance meets research and industry standards for safety
- Supports cold storage activities for off-site freezer storage, faculty labs, shared resources and responds to alarm monitoring system
- Supports special project assignments related to supporting Moffitt Research Institute wide research initiatives such as large-scale freezer clean outs, 5S efforts, CCSG reporting, space use survey, etc.
- Serves as an “essential on-site personnel” during emergencies and coverage in the on-call schedule as assigned.

Summary:The Catheterization Laboratory Technologist I has a critical role in supporting cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and operating essential equipment, including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition. This role ensures the accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements, while also maintaining stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards. The Technologist I actively collaborates with the medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency, serving as the radiation safety representative during X-ray usage and continually developing proficiency in specialized cath lab technologies.Responsibilities:

Participates in daily room checks and stocking of supplies.
Accesses daily patient schedule and appropriate patient information for assigned procedures.
Ensures appropriate equipment, supplies, and room configuration for all procedures.
Collaborates with procedure team and Cath Lab Lead/Coordinator to ensure appropriate patient care and departmental efficiency at all times.
Ensures proper patient information is entered into cath lab computer and imaging systems.
Ensures proper procedure documentation, hemodynamic measurements/recording, and ECG recognition during assigned procedures.
Ensures patient position is appropriate and safely secured on procedure table per procedure type.
Trains and completes competencies to set up and operate cath lab equipment including, but not limited to: Imaging (X-Ray, intravascular ultrasound-IVUS, intracardiac echo-ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, left ventricular assist device, etc.
Supports and anticipates the needs of the physician and ensures patient safety when scrubbing procedures;
moves/pans table appropriately during fluoro and X-Ray acquisition.
Adheres to aseptic technique 100% of the time during procedures and stops the line if a break in sterile technique is identified.
Adheres to organizational policies and processes related to patient safety, patient privacy, infection control (hand hygiene), and patient communication before, during, and after procedure.
Collaborates with others on the team in sharing knowledge;
to gain and provide appropriate knowledge as appropriate;to foster teamwork and team cohesion.
Supports department and team by engaging in patient transport as appropriate.
Obtains and maintains proficiency in access site management.
Acts as radiation safety representative for patients and team while X-Ray is used.
Performs fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition as appropriate for procedure or as instructed by the physician.
Adheres to the attendance policy and departmental productivity standards.

Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
* Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required* Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
* 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire to work/perform independently
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of hire to work/perform independently at Pediatric facilities
One of the following certifications is preferred (individuals whose ARRT certification lapsed prior to June 1, 2023, may qualify under LSRTBE exemption criteria) :
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by CCI
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by CCI
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI
Radiography (R) by ARRT

MATHEMATICAL COMPETENCY:
