Summary:
The Manager of Network Management and Operations plans and manages the service delivery for quality and continuous improvement of network architecture, devices and protocols while adhering to and executing best practices to maintain optimal service levels. This position is responsible for daily operations for The Guthrie Clinic’s (TGC) network infrastructure to enable delivery and high availability of standard, enterprise-wide related clinical, business and communication applications. The Manager supports the Director of Enterprise IT Infrastructure to achieve goals and priorities to define and implement policies, procedures and technical solutions that ensure interoperability, manage security risks, lower total cost of ownership and provide a platform for scalable future growth. The Manager will offer business rationale and perspective on technological problems and opportunities. This position will be a technology advocate throughout the organization for the effective application of technology to meet business needs and to support business changes and growth. Technology functions include network infrastructure, architecture and protocols (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, network appliances), network automation and operations, patch management, application delivery, monitoring and cloud computing.
Experience:
1. Preferred five to seven (5 to 7) years of experience in IT management and/or professional development in Information Technology management with experience supporting network infrastructure; healthcare experience preferred.
2. Highly experienced information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, complex multi-level organization.
3. Experience in network infrastructure, architecture and protocols (routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, network appliances), network automation and operations, patch management, application delivery, monitoring and cloud computing.
4. Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), cybersecurity and clinical operations.
5. Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments and hybrid cloud architecture.
6. Prior experience delivering high availability systems in a 24/7 environment across geographically dispersed business units.

Essential Functions:
- Plans and manages the activities of the Network Management and Operations department. Works in collaboration with other TGC IT departments supporting information system infrastructures to assure continuous operation of all enterprise-wide business critical systems.
- Oversee the planning and deployment of standards and technology changes for network infrastructure environments and operational IT programs (i.e., lifecycle management, service continuity, compliance).
- Participates in TGC initiatives providing leadership and guidance on technology infrastructure standards, implications, and investments.
- Perform a lead role in the development of a broad TGC network strategy.

This classification is represented by IBEW Local 1245, which has over 100 years of experience representing employees at PG&E. A coworker who has the qualifications of a Cable Splicer, is familiar with the underground system and has the experience and ability to analyze cable and equipment troubles quickly and to restore services promptly by replacing fuses, switching, disconnecting defective cables or apparatus, making repairs, etcetera. May be required to perform other underground work such us preparing cable racks, pulling in and racking cables, maintaining equipment in the underground system, etc. Shall install and maintain services, meters, and equipment including conduit and wiring up to the meter on customers' premises and shall handle trouble in such installations. Drives a truck and operates the associated equipment as assigned. Background of apprenticeship and experience must be such as to qualify an employee to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. This position may be subject to Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) review and approval. Provisional hires will be required to participate in targeted training to achieve journey-level knowledge of electrical technician roles and responsibilities.
 
PG&E is providing the hourly rate that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This position is subject to collectively bargained hourly wage rates and increases. The starting wage rate for this position is $67.58 per hour. The Location: This is a full-time in person position at our Center in East Harlem with some travel to other sites in the neighborhood and occasional travel to other sites in New York City for events, training and collaboration with partner organizations.


Skills & Experience:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Candidates with an Associate's Degree who have more extensive experience in community health work will also be considered.
  2. Community Health Work experience is preferred and related certifications are desirable.

The Vendor Network Manager is responsible for engaging with the assigned network of associates, recruiting and onboarding new associates, and providing a variety of services at client facilities. Vendor Network Managers recruit, contact, assign, train, and, when necessary, address service levels. This includes training associates to use various tools for documenting work, billing, and credentialing. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact and influencer with MDE’s associates (contract service providers) to manage their experience and provide direction on services at client facilities.


Responsibilities

Serve as MDE’s key contact for associates:

  • Recruit, train, and manage new associates as they begin their support of client locations
  • Negotiate associate service fees with a win-win mentality – we keep great associates as partners when creating cost-effective value for our clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with associates
  • Manage associate data points within our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Act as a problem solver with a creative mindset

Act as the bridge between MDE's associates and our Accounts Payable team by assisting with invoicing and any issues that arise relating to fee disputes or negotiation



Collaborate with MDE’s Client Services team to:

  • Work with the Client Services team to coordinate special requests for work that falls outside the scope of regular services
  • This can include gathering quotes and managing special projects
  • Manage field-based MDE Associates who provide service at special client locations, coordinating routing, supply delivery, and quarterly travel to locations within the Midwest.
  • This includes coordinating with Account Management to align with client expectations and goals

Provide support and problem-solving on an as-needed basis during occasional on-call shifts.


Skills/Experience

We are looking for a Senior Principal Engineer / Network Load Balancing Engineer to join a high‑impact engineering team based in Round Rock, TX. This person will architect, build, and optimize global load‑balancing solutions that support mission‑critical applications used across distributed engineering environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, global traffic distribution, multi‑site resiliency, and peak performance across a large‑scale enterprise environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Architect, configure, and operate global load‑balancing platforms (F5 BIG‑IP LTM/GTM, GSLB, HAProxy, NGINX, and other ADC technologies).
  • Design and implement high‑availability and failover strategies across multiple global sites.
  • Develop and refine traffic‑routing logic including iRules, DNS/GSLB policies, health checks, SSL termination, header manipulation, and L4/L7 flow engineering.
