The Mobile Production Manager oversees the daily execution of production plans, which includes strategic workforce management; achievement of daily production, safety and quality metrics; and precise inventory control. Summary: The Operations Manager will report to the Sr Director of Operations as an immediate contact person. Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $70K-$80K USD/annually.
The listed salary range represents Kayem Foods’ good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire pay ranges.
Ranges are reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued wage growth. Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor role contributes to Shaw Baker’s success by providing ongoing support in scheduling resources, technical leadership, and facilitating production flow to meet customer requirements. The Production Supervisor establishes priorities, monitors progress, revises schedule, solves day to day issues, and provides coaching, counseling, and training to employees. The Production Supervisor also enforces systems, policies, and procedures and completes various production reports.
This role ensures the production workflow with high safety and quality standards, working with their team to avoid waste and maintain cost control, while operating in accordance with the company’s values and guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains a safe environment for the employees and ensures strict adherence to company Health and Safety standards, including PPE Policy.
- Support safety drills following the responsibilities of the position.
- Provides leadership and direction to the team, leading by example.
- Participates in the selection process for new employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, corrective action, and work schedules.
- Works with other supervisors and cross-functional department leads to assess employee developmental needs.
- Effectively solves employee issues using a facilitative approach by conducting proper research, investigation, analysis, and evaluation to solve problems.
- Works with Production Managers to implement changes on the operations team.
- Oversees hourly employees’ payroll and ensures that time and attendance for assigned employees are accurate in Paylocity.
- Establishes daily, weekly, and monthly objectives with the production manager and additional Production Supervisors, effectively communicating them to employees, driving results,
- Manages availability of equipment, human and material resources required to meet production targets and efficiencies.
- Maintains the Quality of the product by implementing and enforcing quality control and tracking programs (SPC) to meet quality objectives.
- Effectively works cross-functionally across all departments.
- Ensures equipment operation by calling for repairs and following up on equipment status until back to operation through the work order process.
- Contributes to projects of cost reductions, developing and reporting results.
- Provides information by gathering production performance records and data to prepare reports on performance and progress, presenting to leadership when needed.
- Reviews and maintains daily reporting (batch/production/packaging reports).
- Informs leadership of all requirements tools, supplies, or any resources to accomplish production objectives.
- Understands and can communicate about blueprints, diagrams, schedules, and miscellaneous documents.
- Trains new employees on the use of our machinery safely.
- Leads 5S activities.
- Supports continuous improvement process.
- Supports requests from other departments (NPD, Maintenance.)
- Maintains and covers schedules as needed.
- Additional availability outside of assigned working hours during rare and critical circumstances.

Required Experience
- 5 years of team leadership experience in the manufacturing and production environment
- Food manufacturing experience required
- Development of policies and programs in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with baking technology a plus
- Familiarity with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.

Day & Night Shift Production Supervisors - Melt, Casting, and Mold Maintenance
Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist the Plant Manager in supervising Team Leaders and production personnel across Melt, Mold Maintenance, and Casting Deck departments
- Support daily operations to ensure production goals for quantity, quality, and cost efficiency are achieved
- Conduct daily safety spot checks and ensure adherence to all safety standards and policies
- Monitor production performance, quality, and yield, reporting key metrics to leadership
- Step in to support managerial responsibilities when leadership is unavailable
- Provide coaching, training, and development for manufacturing team members
- Ensure employees are trained and retrained according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Document employee performance including safety, attendance, production output, and quality
- Partner with Team Leads to ensure employee reviews are completed accurately and on schedule
- Enforce company policies including safety procedures, GMP standards, and workplace policies
- Recommend and implement appropriate corrective or disciplinary actions when policies are not followed
- Analyze production workflows and team performance to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and on-time production
- Establish daily housekeeping standards and follow up with team members to maintain organization and cleanliness
- Communicate with other shift supervisors to ensure production continuity and proper shift handoff
- Adjust production priorities when resources change, including staffing or equipment availability
- Monitor and report daily production data through internal reporting systems
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly safety and process audits (LPAs) are completed
- Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment when necessary
- Perform other operational duties as needed to support plant production
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience supervising or coordinating production teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and operational procedures
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to lead teams while maintaining production efficiency and quality
Preferred Experience
- Some college coursework in manufacturing, operations, or a related field
- Experience with 5S or Lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of heat treatment, casting, or metal melting processes
- Experience working in high-temperature industrial environments
- Familiarity with production reporting systems and operational metrics
Work Environment
This position operates in an active manufacturing environment and requires the ability to:
- Work in high-temperature production areas
- Lift varying weights and move materials as needed
- Push or pull carts and equipment
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
