Director of Operations

In-Office (Modesto, CA based) | Full-Time

Compensation range of $150,000–$200,000 depending on experience.

This is a high-impact role that touches nearly every function: procurement, logistics, customer service, inventory management, QA, and R&D support. You’ll work closely with leadership and key partners to ensure we’re delivering what we promise: on time, on spec, and on brand.

What You’ll Do

Procurement & Supply Chain

•        Source ingredients and packaging materials that meet our quality standards

•        Partner with leadership on supplier selection and pricing negotiations

•        Manage supplier relationships and onboarding

•        Oversee raw material and packaging purchasing to support production schedules

•        Track incoming shipments and ensure supply continuity

Plant Operations

•        Oversee day-to-day plant operations and production scheduling

•        Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing runs

•        Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, and operational efficiency

•        Implement and improve SOPs for production, sanitation, and safety

•        Identify and drive improvements in productivity, cost control, and throughput

Manufacturing & Co-Manufacturing

•        Manage relationships with co-packers and external manufacturing partners

•        Coordinate production planning and ensure manufacturing timelines are met

•        Troubleshoot operational challenges and production issues

Inventory & Demand Planning

•        Manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory

•        Build and maintain demand planning tools using internal templates

•        Ensure proper FIFO protocols and inventory accuracy across facilities

Logistics & Fulfillment

•        Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with third-party carriers

•        Manage freight logistics including LTL and full truckload shipments

•        Work with 3PL partners to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment

Quality Assurance & Compliance

•        Maintain supplier approval and documentation processes

•        Collect and archive COAs (Certificates of Analysis) for ingredient deliveries

•        Oversee compliance and maintain certifications (Paleo, Keto, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO)

•        Ensure plant and operational processes meet food safety and regulatory standards

R&D Support

•        Archive product formulas and production documentation

•        Support the team in R&D project management including sourcing, trials, and timelines

•        Assist with scaling new products from R&D to full production

What You Bring

•        6–10+ years of experience in food manufacturing, CPG operations, supply chain, or plant operations

•        Experience managing or overseeing food production environments

•        Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and operational processes

•        Exceptional organizational and project management skills

•        A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset

•        Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to apply

Your Role as an Automotive Finance Manager:

• Help our customers arrange the financing of their purchases and also present them with additional products that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience
• Fully proficient with title laws and registration process
• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
• Automotive Finance Manager / Automotive F&I Manager accurately submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals
• Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts

• Must have experience as a Finance Manager
• Use menu sales presentation
• Avg. 50% service contract penetration
• Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills

Essential Functions of this position include:

• Secure orders from existing and potential customers by visiting customer facilities or contacting them by phone/email.
• Follow up (by phone/email or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.
• Submits daily activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems; maintains client profiles.
• Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
• Provides a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis / quarterly review.
• Attend sales meetings as required.
• Meet or exceed sales goals as established by management.
• Plan each day, week, and month before the month starts, plan each call.
• Use sales tools, complete daily planner/sales program after each call and at the end of the day.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records of clients and sales activities.

Minimum Requirements (You must meet 1 of the following) :

• Wholesale Distribution Industry-specific sales experience. Candidates with prior experience in similar industries, including MRO, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical or similar distribution sales, are encouraged to apply.
• 2+ years prior experience with business-to-business field type sales (to include price negotiation), Wholesale or Manufacturing
• Education or working experience in Wholesale Distribution or Manufacturing product B2B sales.
• You MUST have a current and valid Drivers licensce.

• Be willing to attend Products and Sales Training virtually 1-2 weeks, depending on knowledge of our industry and products.

Role Description - 1099 POSITION (NO BENEFITS) - $25-30 / hr

This is a part-time (Wed/Thurs + Sun), on-site role located in Fox River Grove, IL, for a Lead Medical Assistant specializing in interventional pain management at the Pain & Vascular Institute.The Lead Medical Assistant will manage daily clinical operations, assist with care coordination, and liasion with insurance companies working prior authorizations/appeals. Responsibilities also include preparing examination rooms, maintaining patient medical records, administering patient education, and adhering to clinical protocols and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to delivering care.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and at least 1+ year of prior experience in pain management.
• Experience in Medical Office operations and maintaining accurate Medical Records
• Strong Patient Care skills, adhering to a compassionate and service-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinical setting
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is preferred
• Familiarity with interventional pain management procedures is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a lead or supervisory medical assistant is desirable
