Chuy's - Franklin is looking for a full time or part time Restaurant Line Cook in Lutz, FL. As a restaurant line cook at Chuy's - Franklin you will be under the direction of the culinary management team. The ideal restaurant line cook will execute all line station menu items to exact recipe/plate presentation specifications, in a safe and sanitary manner, within specific production times and consistent with the guidelines set by Chuy's - Franklin .

Specific Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Adhering to all food safety and workplace sanitation requirements.
-Ensures every item on station is produced to exact recipe & plating specifications.
-Meets daily productivity standards as established by Kitchen Management.
-Sets up station with sufficient product & utensils and prepares cooking & food holding equipment to ensure the station is ready for meal service.
-Prioritizes cooking & preparation times of each order to ensure timely delivery of guest meals.
-Willingly adjusts ingredients and menu item preparation standards to accommodate guest special preparation requests.
-Sets the next meal shift up for success by properly cleaning work stations, equipment & utensils, and maintaining an organized food storage area.
-Executes all position responsibilities in the spirit of proactive team work & cooperation.
-Makes sure all duties & sidework have been completed to standard at the end of their shift.

The Care Manager/"Designated Care Manager" is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living/long term care and reminiscence neighborhoods. The Care Manager provides hands on care and physical and emotional support as outlined in each resident's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment. • Practice safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
• Report all accidents/incidents immediately.
• Reports all unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately.
• Ensure any cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards are always kept out of the way, not blocking exits, and in compliance with fire codes.
• Understand and practice the proper method of attending to and disposing of, and the possibility of exposure to, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious waste, sharp sticks, and hazardous materials.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, sharp sticks, and hazardous chemicals immediately.
• Ensure oxygen tanks are stored safely, exchanged when empty and monitored to make sure liters of oxygen are at prescribed levels.

Housekeeping and Laundry Services

• Maintain and clean resident's room as assigned including making beds, emptying trash, putting clothes away appropriately, spot sweeping, and mopping as needed.
• Wash resident's laundry as noted in the ISP and as needed.
• Wash and fold dining room linens and napkins.
• Complete assigned housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.

Dining Service

• Serve meals in the dining room and work in the dining room as assigned.
• Promote and ensure a pleasant dining experience during all meals.
• Assist with dining room set up and clean up as assigned.
• Participate in pre-meal meetings.
• Follow residents' diets as indicated on ISP and Confidential Diet Board/Chart.
• Observe, note, and document in daily log any resident changes in dining habits.

Specific Responsibilities for the Reminiscence Neighborhood Care Manager

• IEA residents to attend the afternoon social.
• Incorporate the concept of 'Creating Pleasant Days' into the resident's daily routine.
• Integrate the individual resident's life skills into their daily routine.
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident's day.
• Participate in monthly letters home and letter writing with the residents and their families.

Training and Contributing to Team Success

• Participate as a member of a team and commits to working toward team goals.
• Demonstrate in daily interactions with others, our Team Member Credo.
• Commit to serving our residents and guests through our Principles of Service.
• Contribute to the overall engagement programs and processes (customer and team member engagement) including participating in the team member engagement survey and engagement improvement planning workshops.

Grill Cook Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
• Ensures proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
• Prepare visibly appealing meals; preparing all items in a timely manner; delivering hot and fresh meals
• Follows recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods per the current Bob Evans recipe book
• Works with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high quality meals
• Responsible for practicing and upholding health and sanitation standards
• Maintains high standards of personal grooming. Washes hands frequently. Wears gloves to prevent bare hand contact. Promptly changes apron if it becomes soiled
• Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
• Must maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
• Prioritizes food preparation so that all items for check are finished at the same time
• Properly maintain and operate equipment effectively. Complete working knowledge of the safe and efficient use of all kitchen equipment
• May be asked to assist in other job categories as well
• All other duties as assigned

We are seeking a Nutritional Health Services Specialist to join our team.

Starting Salary: $16.75 - $18.00 (Hourly)

We are seeking a Nutritional Health Services Specialist to join our team. Your role will work under the supervision of the Manager of Nutritional Health Services. This position is responsible in cooperation with other kitchen staff for meal and snack preparation and maintaining the kitchen. This position will assist in food service preparations and distributions. In addition, assist with special events. As a member of the Nutritional Health Services team, you will work with other team members and report to our Manger of Nutritional Health Services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• 
  
• Prepare meals and snacks according to assigned meals.
  
• Check-in and assist in storage and inventory of food.
  
• Assist in ensuring client count is accurately reported.
  
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.
  
• Provide coverage as needed at all our locations (Gillis and Ozanam campuses).
  

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of nutritional health services experience and the following:

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
  
• Current food service permit as per city ordinance and regulations, or ability to obtain.
  
• A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
