Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Packaging Associate II at our Nampa, ID location.


The Packaging Associate II will be responsible for assuring the finished product meets quality standard and the product identification is correct. Assumes responsibility for the operational flow of machines. Ensures the product meets Sorrento Lactalis, Inc. Standards throughout the process and at no time the quality of the cheese is compromised.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Meet efficiency budget levels while producing high quality products.
  • Ensure the cheese is properly sealed before placing it in correct containers.
  • Prepares correct packages and boxes for the days cheese being packaged.
  • Loads and operates machines at a set speed and with minimal stops during process.
  • Accurately complete associated CCP and line operation paperwork while maintaining efficiencies.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area.
  • Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.
  • Weigh cheese.
  • Maintain open line of communication with all line workers and supervisor.
  • Perform sanitation duties as assigned.
  • Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
  • Ensure proper use, identification, mixture, and application of chemicals, including the requirements and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Perform other work duties as assigned.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Transport store-delivery freight as well as store returns and backhauls over-the-road in a safe, efficient, and timely manner adhering to all Dollar General policies and state and federal regulations. 40%

* Unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery in a safe and efficient manner. 30%

* This includes:

* Rolling rolltainers off the trailer onto a lift gate and placing them into the backroom of the store;

* Unloading individual boxes and/or totes as required and placing them in the backroom of the store;

* Reloading return rolltainers and product onto the trailer and returning these items to the Distribution Center; and

* Safely securing all freight and rolltainers at each stop before sealing the trailer.

* Provide professional customer service to all parties including store teams, backhaul vendors, and distribution employees. 10%

* Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations. 10%

* Ensure operation of the vehicle is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. 10%

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

* Available for routine overnight travel for extended periods of time

Department Information

The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States.   • Heavy focus on state, foundation and sponsored research budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and closeout.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for unit leadership and Project Investigators, with a strong emphasis on sponsored grant reporting, to provide accurate data for decision-making while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-award and post-award management for a modest number of sponsored grants and other funding sources, including preparing and submitting budget amendments and subawards for sponsored grants.
  • Monitor and track expenditures against budgets to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Provide support for salary distributions and redistributions in compliance with policy.
  • Exercise fiscal approval authority over Workday transactions at the school level.

Come be part of this award-winning team! OVERVIEW OF POSITION: To utilize significantly honed skills as a local meeting planner (including transportation logistics, event production, teambuilding, etc.) and cultivate sales through a geographic territory, assigned hotel, or assigned House Accounts.

To lead a sales team consisting of an Account Manager and Program Design Associate to successfully create proposals, develop, secure, and execute said programs.

SKILLS REQUIRED Strong Sales Skills, Effective Closing Skills, Leadership, Organization, Time Management, Strong Communication, Excel and Word, One-on-one personal interaction, and outgoing and positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales in assigned area.

Managing all accounts from proposal through final billing.

Supervise work performance of Account Manager and Program Design Associate.

Successfully achieve sales goals.

Build solid client relationships.

Sales Responsibilities: Create opportunities through sales efforts in assigned area.

Communicate with Client to determine needs.

Communicate with vendors and Program Design Associate to generate proposals.

Communicate with Client to review proposals and required revisions.

Conduct site visits with clients.

Contract approved Services with client.

Attend Pre and Post Conference Client Meetings.

Check in with clients daily during program operations in person or through the Account Manager.

Return all customer calls within 24 hours.

Sales Account Management Responsibilities: Maintain relationships with client and hotel partners.

Manage competitive influence on key accounts.

Manage deposits and Accounts Receivables.

Build rapport to sustain relationship.

Engage Management to expand influence and exposure.

Develop new opportunities.

General Responsibilities: Lead by example.

Focus on customer's success.

Maintain a professional presence in the marketplace.
