Job Overview

The Packaging Supervisor guides one of our packaging teams in the execution of Impact

Beverage packaging processes. The Packaging Supervisor reports directly to the Packaging 

Manager. This position will have a strong commitment to quality, delivery, training, and 

documentation, whilst ensuring the production schedule is executed. A strong background in 

SOP creation and execution, and a high-level of mechanical proficiency required.

Responsibilities:


• Be the daily subject matter expert for your packaging team

• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team 

• Lead onboarding and training for new packaging team members

• Coordinate with QA/QC Department to ensure relevant packaging data is collected and 

protocols are followed; assist in implementation of new procedures as they are 

developed

• Contribute to packaging policy development, with the broader goal of making Impact a 

world-class manufacturing operation

• Work with the Packaging Manager to establish and standardize packaging procedures 

(S.O.P.s/standard of work)

• Lead training of Packaging Team according to S.O.P.s

• Hold team accountable for deviations from Standard of Work

• Communicate gaps in training and needs for training

• Coordinate with the Packaging Manager on the Production Schedule and on time 

delivery

• Lead packaging team in day-to-day operations, including performance of production 

work:

o Proper documentation of all packaging data in accordance with internal rules as 

well as compliance needs

o General packaging work: 

▪ Equipment Operation

▪ Material staging

o CIP Filler 

o General cleaning and sanitation

o Work with and report any mechanical issues to the Maintenance Team and 

Packaging Manager

▪ Be able to succinctly and effectively communicate concerns with 

equipment

▪ Be familiar and able to receive instructions via maintenance for 

adjustments and minor repairs on all packaging equipment

o Operate a forklift, scissor lift, manual/powered jacks, and walk behind lifts safely

o Perform other jobs in/outside of the department as needed

o Assist other Impact Beverage Colleagues as necessary

• Works with Packaging Manager to ensure that packaging team adheres to established 

safety/alcohol/food defense policies. Assists with updates and implementation to said 

policies as necessary

• Lead Packaging SQDIP, effectively communicate why metrics were missed and provide 

solution-based feedback from failures

• Coordination with packaging team and warehouse team on resource sharing/production 

transfers/raw materials ordering and receipt, ensuring that hand-offs are 

communicated/executed smoothly

• Evaluate proposed production schedule with Packaging Manager, identifying and 

communicating scheduling adjustments as necessary

Ensure that proper sanitation/cleanliness is maintained in the assigned Packaging Line 

as well as assigned facility areas

• Implement and enforce any food safety compliance rules in accordance with the 

compliance management

• Effective, constructive, and efficient coordination, communication, and collaboration 

with all members of the Impact Beverage Staff, especially members of the packaging 

department

• Cross-training/working in other areas of Impact Beverage as needed

• Working when and as needed to achieve production schedule goals

• Coordinate and communicate effective completion of WIP work throughout normal shift

• Ability to direct and delegate Packaging staff personnel and resources to effectively 

complete daily production schedule

• Conducting oneself in a professional manner when representing Impact Beverage, 

whether inside or outside of the facility.

• Direct and provide feedback for overnight team as relates to production operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or similar experience

File the first report of injury with the insurance carrier within 12 hours of any employee seeking medical care, including subcontractor injuries. 


Maintain proactive, professional, and collaborative safety partnership with DEN. 


Review all safety submittals to ensure they meet contract requirements before submission to DEN, ensuring submissions come through the General Contractor's document control software. 


Conduct daily safety inspections of work areas and provide results to DEN ROCIP Safety Team upon request, possibly using specified forms or programs. 


Address all safety issues logged into ACC BUILD within 24 hours. 


Compile and send safety statistical information to the DEN ROCIP Safety Team. 


Participate in weekly construction meetings with DEN. 


Attend quarterly safety meetings scheduled by the DEN ROCIP Safety Team. 


Qualifications/Experience: 

Must hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST with at least 8 years construction experience in HSE.

Must have completed the OSHA 500 course for construction within the last 24 months, remaining current for the duration of the project.  


Must provide proof of non-expired completion of a Red Cross or approved equal for Cardio–Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).  


Must provide proof of completion of FMCSA compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training.  


Must have knowledge of and ability to fulfill contractor safety representative’s responsibilities set forth in this Manual and the Contractor’s CSPP where applicable.

Claims Intake Specialist


Job Overview:


The Claims Intake Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for individuals filing insurance claims, assisting clients in collecting and verifying essential claim information. This role will ensure accurate documentation, facilitate the intake process, and maintain a high level of customer service throughout the claims handling. The Claims Intake Specialist will be responsible for processing claims efficiently, collaborating with team members, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is obtained to initiate the claims process.


Responsibilities:


Claims Intake and Processing

  • Review incoming claim submissions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Enter claim details into the claims management software system.
  • Ensure all required documentation (accident reports, supporting evidence) is included.


Customer Service and Communication

  • Respond to calls and emails from insureds or claimants regarding claims submission.
  • Provide status updates on claims to insured, claimants, and agents.
  • Verify information against the insured and resolve discrepancies as needed.


Data Entry and Documentation

  • Accurately input data from claims into internal systems and update records regularly.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records to support timely claim resolution.


Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing goals.
  • Highlight any trends or workflow bottlenecks in the claim’s intake process.
  • Assist with the preparation of claim reports and analysis to improve the intake process.


Training and Development

  • Participate in team meetings or training sessions to stay updated on policy changes and system updates.
  • Provide feedback to improve the claims intake process and workflow.


Issue Resolution

  • Troubleshoot incomplete or incorrectly submitted claims.
  • Contact claimants or third parties to gather missing information.


Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Property & Casualty license in the state of business preferred; ability to obtain licensure required
  • Prior experience in Property & Casualty claims, insurance agency operations, and/or the insurance industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Applied Epic a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a service-oriented attitude and build positive relationships
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer for prolonged durations
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assists technical lab staff and may be responsible for the collection, receipt, and processing of biological specimens into the department, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and may perform waived and/or limited moderate complexity testing if CLIA minimum requirements are met or as approved by the CLIA Medical Director. This position reports to department leadership and takes direction from higher-level technical personnel.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. May process and prepare patient samples as required to include the following: 1) specimen collection, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification and specimen integrity 2) general laboratory specimen processing and 3) referral laboratory processing. May perform waived and moderate complexity testing under direct supervision while meeting performance standards and knowledge level determined for the approved testing. Demonstrates an understanding of the computer systems used in the department. Tracks and locates missing specimens while monitoring pending lists. Performs maintenance activities on laboratory equipment as directed. Demonstrates awareness and conforms with accrediting agency and regulatory requirements related to their area of responsibility.

2. Focuses on quality by ensuring that all work performed is accurate, complete and within the time frames defined by the department. Meets department standards for productivity and quality. May perform quality control for testing as directed by technical staff, basic troubleshooting and communicate technical concerns to technical staff. Participates in detecting and documenting occurrences that deviate from defined procedures. Follows established methods and practices and demonstrates basic problem-solving skills with QC, testing and computer issues and maintains acceptable specimen rejection rates, if applicable.

3. Participates in departmental financial responsibilities through the appropriate use of supplies and materials and assists with inventory management. Participates in department initiatives to reduce costs and improve service.

4. Performs miscellaneous support duties as defined by the department, which may include phlebotomy and training. May contribute to the updates of training documents and procedures.

5. Communicates courteously, professionally, effectively, and accurately with internal and external customers. Demonstrates skills for basic computer inquiry and problem solving, and use of communication equipment. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. Promotes positive communications that enhance teamwork. Attendance and participation at staff meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years or older if performing phlebotomy.
  • Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.
  • Position may require DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
  • Dependent on department/location, candidate must possess a valid state driver's license in the state of employment and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
  • Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
