Project Scheduler – Electrical Construction (Houston, TX)

We’re looking for an experienced Project Scheduler to support large‑scale electrical construction projects across commercial, healthcare, institutional, and infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using P6/MS Project for multiple concurrent electrical projects
• Support preconstruction teams with baseline schedules, logic ties, and milestone planning
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to gather progress updates and validate schedule accuracy
• Analyze critical paths, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports for internal teams and external stakeholders
• Participate in OAC and trade coordination meetings to ensure alignment across all disciplines
• Review subcontractor schedules for accuracy, logic, and integration into the master schedule
• Support delay analysis, recovery schedules, and resequencing efforts when required
• Maintain documentation for schedule changes, impacts, and project controls compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of scheduling experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, or large‑scale electrical construction
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and schedule reporting tools
• Understanding of electrical construction sequencing, manpower loading, and critical path methodology
• Experience supporting $20M+ electrical scopes or large multi‑trade commercial projects
• Ability to communicate schedule impacts clearly to both field and office teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions
• Experience collaborating with GCs, engineers, and trade partners in a fast‑paced environment

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This Engineer will be responsible for completing the automation portion of capital projects in support of the Plant Capital execution as well as Plant technical support, enabling the plant to meet its Market, Safety, Productivity, and Quality goals. Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement or upgrade.

Participate in assigned major capital projects and/or modifications from start to finish, including equipment reception, commissioning, and acceptance.

For customer projects, manages the design studies for industrial electrical equipment, and low/high voltage electrical installations that are necessary for the success of the Plant's capital projects. She / he will ensure adherence to the customer's specifications, local regulations, compliance of performance, and costs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Bachelors in Electra-mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience in the field

Preferred minimum of at least 3 years of Engineering experience

Minimal travel, 5-10% maximum (vendor machine acceptance, support of local facility)

Experience with electrical design standards and able to complete controls systems designs using standard CAD design tools

Experience with PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text. Specific experience with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens is a plus.

Experience with Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies. Specific experience with Rockwell, Siemens and Control Techniques is a plus.

Experience with HMI configuration, programming and communication. Specific experience with Rockwell is a plus.

Experience with controls systems network interfaces and various protocols for communications between devices including computer system databases.

Experience in Project Team Leadership or Project Management is preferred, but not required

Electrical Construction Superintendent | Data Centers

Seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Superintendent to lead field execution on a Hyperscale Data Center project in Ann Arbor, MI. This role is responsible for day-to-day site leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery of complex mission-critical electrical systems.

You will serve as the primary field leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and trade partners while working closely with project teams, client representatives, and general contractors to drive successful project outcomes from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site execution of large-scale data center electrical construction
• Manage daily field operations, work sequencing, manpower, and productivity
• Enforce strict safety standards, quality control, and compliance
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other trades
• Drive schedule adherence and support milestone delivery
• Review drawings, specs, and constructability with project leadership
• Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
• Mentor foremen and field crews to build strong project teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical construction, with Superintendent-level field leadership
• 5+ years of data center or mission-critical project experience
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and grounding systems
• Proven ability to lead large field teams in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills
• Proficient with construction documentation and scheduling tools
• OSHA 30 required; electrical license preferred
• Willingness to travel full-time as required
