Job Summary
Reporting to the Trade Operations Leader, the Trade Compliance Associate supports the execution of international trade compliance activities to help ensure HellermannTyton North America operates in accordance with U.S. Customs and applicable foreign trade regulations. This position provides day-to-day operational and compliance support for import and export processes, including reviewing entry documentation, maintaining HTS classifications and Country of Origin (COO) data, and administering free trade agreement programs such as USMCA. The role assists with vendor solicitation and collection of COO and HTS certifications, maintains required trade documentation, and supports accurate duty application and trade remedy tracking. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
The Trade Compliance Associate is responsible for maintaining organized and accurate trade records, updating internal databases, and ensuring activities align with established corporate policies, departmental procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and issue Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates, including USMCA, and other required trade program declarations for customers and affiliated entities.
- Perform FTA qualification analyses for manufactured and resale products in accordance with applicable U.S. trade agreement rules.
- Review and audit import entry documentation to ensure accurate HTS classification, Country of Origin (COO), trade remedy applicability (e.g., Section 232/301, IEEPA), and proper duty assessment.
- Assign and maintain product trade classifications, including HTS, ECCN, Schedule B, COO, and applicable preference criteria, with supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and customs brokers to obtain and validate required classification and origin data.
- Maintain and update the internal trade compliance database to ensure accurate import and export classification records.
- Administer the annual supplier solicitation process for trade certifications covering purchased materials, components, and resale products.
- File Electronic Export Information (EEI) through AES and maintain ITN documentation for U.S. export shipments.
- Conduct restricted party screening and escalate potential matches in accordance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Maintain trade compliance records in accordance with 15 CFR, 19 CFR, and company retention policies to support audit readiness.
- Support the enhancement and maintenance of HellermannTyton' s trade compliance recordkeeping practices in accordance with 15 CFR, 19 CFR, and applicable GAAP requirements.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, the Processing Technician 2 is responsible for supporting the injection molding departments' operational goals. The primary responsibilities of this role will include Start-up of all down machines when ready, attending and actively participating in tech meetings, housekeeping, checking process parameters while ensuring all alarms are on and active, submitting first pieces to the Quality Lab, completing material changes, and setting scales. The Processing Technician 2 will provide troubleshooting support to the production group to correct problems. This role will act as the liaison between Production and the Process Engineering dept. Under the direction of the Director of Automation, the Automation Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for analyzing, developing, supporting, and documenting the ongoing continuous improvement projects within the Automation Engineering department to increase the efficiency, operation and readiness of the plants automation equipment. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.
The CI Engineer will use Six Sigma tools to analyze and support recommendations for machine improvements and cost saving projects. "
Essential Functions:
- Provide analytical data and documentation to support machine improvements that will lead to improved machine efficiencies.
- Collaborate and review suggested design improvements with Automation Engineer Design Team
- Ensure conformance to engineering codes, IATF16949 and HellermannTyton standards for quality
- Use CAD/SolidWorks software to create/modify and update drawing within the EPDM vault
- Use AB software to create/modify and update machine Programmable Logic Control programs as required.
- Modify and update CAD/SolidWorks files in accordance to standard processes in place in the department.
- Possess advanced skills with vision systems and integration for quality inspections.
- Build and develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to work towards common goals and projects outcomes defined by Operations plant management team.
- Participate in project hand off processes that require process optimization, process flow, and assisting with training as required.
- Evaluate high scrap machines/cells using problem solving techniques that could include analysis of material, tooling, process or equipment and prepare data to support recommendations/findings.
- Lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion outcomes, as directed by the Director of Automation and Operations management team.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve equipment performance, quality and production methods.
- Stay current with technology and industry standards
- Comply with all quality and safety regulations in compliance with OSHA and HellermannTyton policy
Other Functions
- Travel could be required on a "as needed" basis
- Attend all meeting with cross-functional teams to review project work and direction
- Lend support through training and technical advice to help other technicians become more efficient.
- All employees entering the manufacturing area and other identified locations must wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as a condition of employment.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or equivalent from a four year college or technical school with 3+ years experience in Automation Design/Integration and Continuous Improvement projects involving automation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, schematics, and ladder logic
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
- Ability for overnight travel by air or land as needed.
- Must have a valid drivers license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance
