Production Analyst

Our client—a leading global medical device company—is hiring a Production Analyst to support operational efficiency at their flagship distribution center in Phoenix. This is more than just a planning role: you’ll combine data-driven production planning with continuous improvement initiatives, working alongside the Operational Excellence team to optimize how life-saving products are distributed.

Projects You’ll Work On

• Analyze order backlog and prioritize tasks based on SLAs and carrier pick-up schedules
• Build and release picking waves using WMS and ERP tools (SalesPad, Koerber, etc.)
• Identify production inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement projects in partnership with the OpEx team
• Monitor real-time order status and shift plans as needed to optimize throughput
• Manage labor allocation across shifts in coordination with warehouse supervisors
• Use Excel and system reporting to track plan vs. fulfillment and deliver key insights to leadership
• Initiate and lead Kaizen events to eliminate process waste and bottlenecks
• Support ongoing documentation of new processes and standard work procedures
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to automate tasks and improve reporting or communications

What Experience You Should Bring

• 4–6 years of combined warehouse and computer-based planning experience
• Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems (Koerber and SalesPad preferred)
• Microsoft Excel proficiency with strong data analysis and planning tracking
• Prior exposure to Lean Six Sigma methodologies; Kaizen leadership a strong plus
• Experience communicating operational challenges to both floor teams and executive leadership
• Use of generative AI tools to increase productivity is a bonus
