Summary of the position:
The Assembler position requires an individual to perform several duties as defined within the Assembly family.
This position is located at Hitachi Global Air Power in Michigan City, Indiana, and reports to the Value Stream Leader.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble compressors in assigned area using Work Center Instructions (WCI), Piping & Instrumentation instructions (P&I), Wiring Diagram (WD) and Bill of Material (BOM) and assembly drawings.
- Apply decals to machines, as needed.
- Utilize Andon signals per guidelines.
- Measure, cut, bend, fit small tubing to machine. Install tubing and fittings using hyferset.
- Install foam insulation on tubing and controls.
- Install heat trace tape to tubing and controls AND/OR bend large tubing with power bender per print or custom fit (Industrial).
- Assemble frames in assigned area, per BOM, or WCI.
- Assemble separator tanks in assigned area, using BOM, P&I or WCI.
- Assemble components to engines in assigned area, per BOM or WCI.
- Connect motor leads and connectors to power source per WD and BOM.
- Wire machines or packages, terminating wire harnesses or basic wiring in assigned area, per WD.
- Assemble couplings on engines/motors and air ends in assigned area, per WCI, BOM.
- Inspect finished machines at the end of process in assigned area, and receive them into finished goods.
- Align motor, air end and coupling in assigned area, using calipers, dial indicators and straight edge.
- Assemble and insulate enclosures and install on machine in assigned area, per BOM, WCI.
- Assemble mounted or remote cooler packs in assigned area, per BOM, WCI, WD and P&I.
- Terminate wiring for controls, basic panels, fan motors, etc. in assigned area, per WD and P&I.

Qualifications:
Education:

CLSSD, located in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, is seeking a Full-Time Staff Attorney position. The Attorney is responsible for representing clients who range between the ages of 0-21 years old who are dependents of the juvenile courts in San Diego County. For children and youth under age 18, CLSSD Attorneys serve as their attorney and Guardian Ad Litem. Attorneys are required to comply with CLSSD's visitation policies, which often require Attorneys to travel to visit their clients. The Attorney may be required to appear on cases in any of the courtrooms throughout San Diego County.
The primary duties of the Attorney include, but are not limited to:
- Assess the critical legal issues of each assigned client through each phase of the Juvenile Dependency System and advocate for each client's position and needs at every hearing by:
- Communicating and consulting with clients in an age appropriate manner to determine their position/wishes and assessing their best interest to include a clear understanding of their ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds;
- Assertively and persuasively working with attorneys, caregivers, CASAs, social workers and the court;
- Independently investigating the allegations of dependency petitions and other underlying issues affecting our clients, including safety, education, developmental, health, etc.;
- Properly applying dependency and other applicable case law, statutes and court rules;
- Complying with all authority (statute, case law, rules of court, local rules and rules of professional conduct, etc.) which govern the representation of parties in Juvenile Dependency proceedings;
- Using effective trial and courtroom presentation skills;
- Effectively negotiating with other counsel and social workers;
- Using sound case analysis and judgment;
- Effectively applying evidentiary rules and objections;
- Propounding and reviewing discovery;
- Assessing the need for expert witnesses;

2. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of dependency law and a general knowledge of law in related areas by competently analyzing and applying the law in daily advocacy and practice thus providing thorough, competent and accurate legal advice. Attend required trainings, which may fall outside of regular business hours. Maintain compliance with MCLE requirements.
3.Prepare clear, concise and persuasive motions, pleadings, briefs, and memorandums of law, as well as correspondence and reports as needed by thoroughly and appropriately researching applicable law. Submit/send/file documents in a timely manner.
4.Effectively engage available resources and actively seek out new resources to properly represent and advocate for our clients' bests interests, including but not limited to:
- Caregivers, including group home staff;
- Medical providers;
- Mental health professionals;
- Educational resources;
- Community based services providers, such as Voices for Children, Regional Center, The San Diego LGBTQ Center, Cultural Broker Program, etc.; Other legal experts or consultants;

Qualifications:

Position Overview

Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare, format, edit, and proofread all legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules and filing requirements.
- Generate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities in accordance with the Bluebook and the California Style Manual.
- Prepare and assemble exhibits for service, filing, and hearings, ensuring proper organization and presentation.
- File and serve documents in federal and state courts, including electronic filing, and coordinate with filing services as needed.
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and internal and external deadlines.
- Collaborate with the calendar clerk to calculate, confirm, and independently verify litigation deadlines based on applicable court rules and filings.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary supporting civil litigation matters.
- Advanced knowledge of California state and federal court rules, procedures, and filing requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word for complex document formatting, styles, and document comparison.
- Experience with document management systems and legal software, including e-filing platforms such as PACER and OneLegal
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, including calendaring rules and deadline calculation.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Trust & Safety Policy Associate focused on policy drafting, you will support the development, refinement, and documentation of policies, guidelines, and standards that govern seller behaviour, prohibited items, acceptable use, risk controls, and abuse prevention. You will collaborate with our customer’s Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to create clear, enforceable, and scalable policy language that balances business growth, customer protection, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in drafting, revising, and updating policy documents, including prohibited/restricted
products lists, seller conduct guidelines, acceptable use policies, fraud/risk rules, and
enforcement procedures.
• Research emerging threats, abuse patterns, regulatory developments (e.g., consumer

Tier 1 Watch Commander/Senior Supervisory Security Officers will be the senior operational personnel for their shift and will be responsible for performing functions of a Security Officer, as required, and performing security shift supervision at the required designated Properties.

- Carry out all other supervisory duties as required or directed by their Contract Managers and Assistant Contract Managers

- Provide scheduling, training, and counseling for Security Officers

Qualifications
- Must possess an Associate’s degree
- Must Possess a minimum of 3 years of security supervisory experience
- Have one of the below experience qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years in a U.S. Military Special Operations Unit or U.S. Law Enforcement Special Operations Unit, OR
- A minimum of 4 years in a combat Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and a minimum of 2 years as a sworn law enforcement officer/agent, OR
- A minimum of 6 years as a sworn law enforcement officer/agent. For purposes of this paragraph, a sworn law enforcement officer/agent shall mean a person who is legally authorized to carry a firearm and legally empowered to perform arrests and who has satisfied all applicable legal and training requirements for armed law enforcement officers in the jurisdiction in which they were employed
- Be a U.S. Citizen with a social security card and a valid driver's license
- Must meet all medical and physical standards and satisfactorily complete background checks, psychological and drug screening

Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
