Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a critical role in developing next-generation DC Fast Charging systems for electric vehicles. This position focuses on designing robust, efficient, and manufacturable mechanical solutions for high-power electronics and energy storage systems. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in electronics packaging, thermal management, and structural design with a strong focus on design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovative Design:
• Design components for battery-integrated DC fast chargers and lab test equipment
• Fabricate and assemble prototype parts for design validation
• Documentation:
• Prepare detailed drawings of mechanical parts and electrical wiring harnesses
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for new and existing products
• Initiate and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for controlled documents, specifications, and work instructions
• Manufacturing Support:
• Resolve manufacturing/quality issues for parts and assemblies in production
• Design production test equipment and assembly aides
• Support production line setup

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in electronics packaging design
• Extensive design experience using PTC Creo Parametric CAD software package
• Understanding of the applications of ASME Y14.5
• Demonstrated success in designing for sheet metal, extrusion & injection molding processes
• Experience with mechanical fabrication in a lab environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years’ experience in electronics packaging
• Proficient with Creo Sheet Metal & Cabling Extension
• Experience with Creo Harness Manufacturing Extension "HMX"

To coordinate and perform tasks with other Manufacturing staff to fulfill customer requirements, such as mechanical assembly and/or wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.

General Duties:

• Assembles finished units per customer specifications. Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish.
• Utilizes manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to product safety specifications.
• Pull, crimp, install, and test wiring and wiring harnesses.
• Keeps inventory personnel abreast of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments.
• Performs part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
• Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
• Works under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently.
• Follows mostly routine, standardized procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Selects from a variety of established procedures to perform assigned duties.
• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids.
• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Knowledge Requirements:

The OTE for this position is $220,000. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements. A valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

As a Customer Success Manager at Credal, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring maximal adoption and value realization from our product across our diverse client base. The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of maslansky + partners in New York City. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000. In addition, this position is also eligible for an annual sales incentive.
