As a Staff Software Engineer you will:

• Technical & Architectural Leadership: Drive the multi-quarter technical roadmap and architecture for the Airflow platform, ensuring it is secure, highly scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient for enterprise-grade workloads.

• Complex Problem Solving: Design and implement solutions for the most challenging technical issues, such as extreme scale, multi-tenancy isolation, complex scheduling, and hybrid/multi-cloud deployment models.

• Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate closely with product management, principal engineers, and other platform teams (e.g., Spark, Kubernetes) to define and deliver core orchestration capabilities that influence the entire data platform.

• Engineering Excellence: Define and champion best practices, performance optimization, and quality standards (observability, testing, and fault tolerance) for the Airflow service and its integrations.

• Mentorship: Mentor senior and junior engineers on complex technical design, best practices, and execution, elevating the overall technical capacity of the team and organization.

• Open Source: Maintain significant contributions and influence within the Apache Airflow open-source community, aligning the project's roadmap with product strategy.

We are excited if you have (Required Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 6+ years of experience

• Deep Airflow Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow internals (scheduler, executor, serialization, REST APIs) and complex DAG authoring/optimization.

• Programming: Mastery in Python, some Java experience and extensive experience with core data platform technologies and cloud-native deployments (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloud Composer, AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Systems Thinking: Demonstrated ability to drive design and architectural decisions with a focus on non-functional requirements (security, performance, high availability, fault tolerance).

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and drive technical projects across multiple teams without direct reporting authority.

As a Harness Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the system integration team and will report to the System Integration Engineering Manager. The system integration team is a small group of highly motivated engineers designing, integrating, testing, and flying advanced mechanical and electrical systems. The harness engineer is a very cross-functional role at the convergence of the avionics, mechanical, integration, and production teams, with significant hands-on work designing, building, integrating, and testing our harnesses, enclosures, and mounting hardware; expect to broaden your design and application experience.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Harness Engineer you will work with the avionics, mechanical, and integration teams to define the harnessing design, including routing, component selection, and manufacturing and integration processes. You'll be responsible for the detailed design of both flight and test harnesses, and you'll be working with the production technicians and A&Ps to get the harnesses built and installed on the aircraft. You'll have the opportunity to design, install, and test your hardware on a remotely operated aircraft, and you'll be an instrumental part of how our hardware teams come together on the airplane.

Basic Success Criteria

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience

• 2+ years experience in electrical harness design

• Ability to route harnessing (both in CAD and physically in the airplane) in a strategic manner

• Experience working with connectors, backshells, EMI shielding, and cable/wire protection methods

In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. We are seeking a Staff Network Engineer (Team Lead) to serve as the senior technical anchor and day-to-day leader for our Network Engineering function. This role blends deep technical expertise with operational leadership-driving architecture, reliability, compliance, and performance across a modern hybrid cloud environment spanning AWS, Azure, and enterprise on-prem infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Serve as the lead engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid cloud and data center environments.
• Architect and support complex routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and load-balancing solutions using Cisco, FortiGate, F5, Cloudflare, and Azure/AWS native controls.

Operational Ownership & Reliability

• Proven ability to take ownership of complex harnessing systems and coordinating completion of technical data packages with peers​

• Experience developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product lifecycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test​

• Developing subject matter expertise round wire, rf, and/or rigid-flex harnesses

• Experience with harness design with mixed signals including knowledge of differential signals and shielding for EMI/RFI and crosstalk concerns. 

• Moderate 3D modeling skills with a prominent commercial software package​

• Experience with Pro/Engineer/CREO 3D modeling and mechanical drawing generation​

• Experience with Creo Schematic, Mentor Capital, or other electrical system documentation software​

• Experience with flex and rigid flex design including familiarity with ECAD software, PCB design, signal integrity, copper weight calculations, adhesives, dielectrics, coverlays, stiffeners and thermal management. The ability to problem-solve tight space and dynamic movement constraints is a bonus.

• Proven design and manufacturing knowledge in machined parts, injection molded parts, wire harnesses/flex harnesses and related components​

Atlas Web Technologies ® is seeking a Divisional Plant Engineer for the Meridian, Mississippi facility.

Divisional Plant Engineer Job Duties & Primary Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to multiple plant locations driving improvements in reliability, process control, and other pertinent KPI’s.
• Create necessary CAD drawings for equipment layout, process control, fabrication and assembly of components.
• Familiar with pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and boiler systems and controls.
• Must have exceptional operational knowledge of process equipment and the ability to make logical decisions concerning the operation, maintenance and modification of process equipment with minimal supervision.
• Experience with project management and implementation from the initial planning stages to completion on time and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines for capital and expense projects with input from stakeholders.
• Prepare project justifications and formal authorization requests for capital projects generally over $100,000.
• Commission new production equipment, controls, and processes, and monitor modifications and upgrades.
• Familiar with control loops and control strategies to support troubleshooting and optimization of existing controls and processes.
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in optimization of processes and products involving modifications to facilities, equipment, methods and materials.
• Where appropriate, select and supervise external contractors and consultants to ensure they meet the requirements for function, cost, timing, and quality.
• Works with process, quality, production, and manufacturing personnel to develop and implement process changes necessitated by new technology or improvements to current technologies.
• Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from other technical and operating staff involved to develop and implement process improvement.
• Works with maintenance departments to develop proactive maintenance procedures and programs for the facilities and process equipment.
• Travel 25% to the other two locations (Sylacauga, Alabama & Franklin, Ohio). Expected travel requirement is minimum of 30%, potentially higher during project implementations.

Divisional Plant Engineer Additional Required Skills & Qualifications: (include computer, language, mathematical, and analytical skills required)

• Advanced analytical skills and creativity in solving problems and troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with various levels in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple short and long-term projects.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project
• Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (ControlLogix/ RS logic) is preferred.

Divisional Plant Engineer Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no direct internal supervisory responsibilities.
• Supervises and directs outside contractors during the construction and commissioning phases of capital projects.

Divisional Plant Engineer Education: (include Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ hands-on work experience in a manufacturing environment with a proven track record of measurable results.
• Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments and be proactive.
• Experience in building materials or paper manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in process batching and coating technology is preferred.
