We are looking for a senior attorney motivated to make a career change who is ready for success in both sales and leadership in addition to handling a reduced case load. This is an in person position at our Brookfield location. There are enormous bonus ramps with performance incentives that go well beyond the "maximum" listed here. Our cases are flat fee and there are no requirements to generate your own book of business. Wisconsin bar admission is required.

β’ Medical Lead / Leadership Role: We are seeking an experienced veterinarian interested in stepping into a Medical Lead (Lead DVM) role. This role oversees operators, dispatch, service delivery, and safety coordination in a highly visible, federally regulated transit environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assumes first-line supervision of location employees. Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
- Have direct interface with the City of Milwaukee
- FTA/State DOT oversight exposure
- Coordinates daily transit operations' dispatching and in-service monitoring.
- Completes necessary daily and/or weekly reports for company and customer.
- Tracks and maintains employee attendance system and processes driver and operations staff vacation requests. Maintains/orders necessary driver and staff uniforms.
- Monitors and evaluates Operations activities. Includes: vehicle on-time statistics, missed runs, customer complaint data, accident data, road call data, and other operations-related functions
- Assists with supervision of location staff. Communicates job requirements and expectations. Monitors the performance of staff and provides coaching and guidance as required.
- Shall be fully trained and capable of running other departments in the event of a vacancy.
- In conjunction with the Safety Manager, ensures all federal, state, local and company recordkeeping requirements are met.
- May assists in accident/incident investigation, including any needed on-site assistance and support to safety and training personnel.
- Coordinates with the safety and training department to ensure all safety goals and directives are met.
- Ensures that all manifests are performed accurately and timely.
- Manage Dispatch and Operator schedules and validation of pay hours.
- Assigns manifests and documents assignments manually and in the specified computer system; updates and maintains dispatch.
- Assists with operator hiring process; administers discipline to operators including recommendations for suspension or termination; oversees activities and supervises driverβs room; documents attendance and enforces uniform policy; counselsβ employees.
- Performs any other management requests or directives as they relate to the overall function of Transdev. In addition, shall maintain the appropriate license requirement to drive a route as necessary to complete the dayβs activity.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements to assure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws.
- Experience supervising schedulers, dispatchers, and drivers.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time effectively.
- The ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels, including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and the general public.
- Work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6β8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

The Opportunity
As a dedicated Property Adjuster Specialist , you will work within established guidelines and framework to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm and analyzes coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlements in compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
Property Adjuster Specialist focus on using technology and desk adjusting for a virtual first approach to inspections and claims handling. USAA also provides a company vehicle to physically inspect losses within your locally assigned territory. Field Adjusters may travel outside of their local territory to respond to claims in other regions when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available.
This is a field-based role for Milwaukee, WI. Candidates currently living in this location or willing to self-relocate are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do:Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of complex damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage including potential legal liability.
Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate complex claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.
Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing information involving complex policy terms and contingencies.
Determines and negotiates complex claims settlement within authority limits. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.
Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.
Advance knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools. Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage complex property insurance claims.
Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.
May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.
Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.
Works independently solving complex problems with minimal guidance; acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Adjusts complex claims with attorney involvement.
Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.
May require travel to resolve claims, attend training, and conduct in-person inspections.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

- Required to meet in person with the IRIS participant a minimum of four times per year, with one required annual visit in the home of the participant. Because IRIS is a self-directed program, it is important for ICs to be available upon the request of the participant.Β
- Responsible for providing program orientation to new participants. During this time, participants will learn their rights and responsibilities as someone enrolled in the IRIS program, including verifying legal documents, completing employee paperwork and the responsible use of public dollars.Β
- Explore a broad view of the participant's life, including goals, important relationships, connections with the local community, interest in employment, awareness of the Self-Directed Personal Care option, and back-up support plans.Β
- Assist participants in identifying personal outcomes and ensure those outcomes are being met on an ongoing basis, all while staying within the participant's IRIS budget and within the requirements of the IRIS program determined by the Department of Health Services (DHS).Β
- Responsible for documenting all orientation and planning activities within the IRIS data system (WISITs) within 48 business hours of the visit with the participant.Β
- Research community resources and natural supports that will fit the individual outcomes for each participant and share that information with them as it becomes available.Β
- Responsible for documenting progress and changes as needed within the plan and the data system anytime a modification is requested by a participant.Β
- Budget Amendment or One-Time Expense paperwork may be required depending upon factors associated with the participant and their individual IRIS budget.Β
- Educate participants on how to read and interpret their monthly budget reports to ensure that participants operate within their budget. Being a liaison between the Fiscal Employer Agency and the IRIS Consultant Agency is also a large part of the position, which includes assisting participants with provider billing, seeking support brokers, tracking receipts, ensuring their workers are paid and mitigating areas of potential risk or conflicts of interest.Β
- Responsible to develop engaged and trusting relationships with participants and communicate program changes and compliance effectively.Β
- Responsible to maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
- Work collaboratively with other IRIS Consultant Agency staff in order to ensure a successful implementation of participants' plans.Β
- Attend in-person monthly team meetings with other ICs and their supervisor. In addition, weekly IC and IRIS Consultant Supervisor phone check-ins may occur, along with other duties as assigned.Β

Required Qualifications
β’ At least 2 years experience in health care, preferably in care coordination, and at least 1 year of experience serving target groups of the IRIS program (adults with intellectual/physical disabilities or older adults), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a social work, psychology, human services, counseling, nursing, special education, or a closely related field (or four years of commensurate experience if no degree).
β’ Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements unless otherwise required by law.
