The BIM Lead is the Face of the project when it comes to the BIM effort. The primary BIM contact for the General Contractor and field team. Must work hand in hand with General Foreman of project on an almost daily basis. Communication skills over computer and face to face is a must. High level of software skills in order to deliver project goals. Relies on Manager to provide electrical experience on minor issues and project direction.

Essential Functions
- Maintain relationships with customers, peers and other departments
- Perform modeling primarily utilizing Revit and additionally AutoCAD MEP
- Extensive use of Navisworks
- Detailed use of Revit, including setting up and maintaining jobs, files, families, schedules and work sets
- Extract detailed information from Revit model
- Provide dimensioned working/shop drawings for field installation and prefabrication, as well as, provide as-built record drawings at the end of the project
- Occasional travel required to project locations in Denver Metro area
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Revit experience and detailed understanding of its processing including setting up and maintaining jobs, files, families, schedules and work sets
- Experience in 4D modeling and animations
- High school diploma or GED is required

- Knowledge of NEC electrical Codes
- Ability to manage other employees
- Ability to learn new processes within Revit
- Strong commercial electrical background is preferred to understand constructability of electrical systems

Responsibilities:

- Prequalify subcontractors and review their safety programs, requiring designated safety representatives on each project.
- Lead daily and weekly jobsite inspections, assign corrective actions, and verify close-out of findings.
- Direct incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and report generation, maintaining all regulatory safety records.
- Coordinate emergency drills, equipment inspections, and fire prevention procedures with the onsite team.
- Coach and develop Safety Engineers and Coordinators through feedback and professional development plans.
Must-Have Skills:
- B.S. in Safety & Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of construction safety experience including lead or supervisory roles on active job sites.
- OSHA 30-hour Certification (required).
- Proven leadership, ability to influence without authority, and clear written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common construction management software platforms.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer Certification.
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) credentials.
- Bilingual Spanish language skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.

3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams.
Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques and approaches used to support fact-based decision-making.
Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect technical insights to business problems.

Position Summary
The Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager owns all pricing strategy and preconstruction cost development at Matukat Construction. This role leads estimating efforts from early conceptual budgeting through final GMP execution, manages subcontractor engagement during bidding, and ensures scope clarity and financial risk awareness prior to construction.
The Senior Estimator works closely with the Project Executive, operations team, and design partners to guide projects through preconstruction while ensuring pricing accuracy, market competitiveness, and alignment with project objectives.
This position reports to the Project Executive and supervises Estimator(s) within the preconstruction team.
Key Responsibilities Preconstruction Leadership & Strategy
Lead all estimating and bidding efforts from conceptual budgeting through final GMP development.
Establish estimating strategy based on delivery method including CMAR, Design-Build, Negotiated, and Hard Bid projects. Review owner program and design documents to identify scope gaps, cost drivers, and construction risks early. Provide strategic cost input during design phases to support constructability and budget alignment.
Partner with the Project Executive to determine go/no-go decisions and bid strategy.
Supervise and mentor Estimator(s) while supporting their technical and professional development.
Estimating & Cost Development
Prepare or oversee conceptual estimates, schematic budgets, design development estimates, and final GMP proposals.
Ensure quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and scope coverage are complete and accurate.
Develop and maintain historical cost data and market benchmarks for Matukat Construction projects.
Establish contingency strategy and risk allowances in collaboration with the Project Executive.
Review and approve all pricing prior to submission to ownership.
Subcontractor & Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the Colorado market.
Create and manage bidder lists appropriate for project size, complexity, and market conditions.

Oversee bid solicitation, follow-up, and bid coverage to ensure competitive participation.

Remain available to clarify estimate assumptions during early stages of project execution.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor Estimator(s) within the preconstruction team.

What You’ll Bring
