The Secret Service Special Operations Division's Counter Assault Team (CAT) creates a unique tactical career opportunity for special agents within the Office of Protective Operations. Special Agents within this tactical operations assignment possess operational skills that are relevant to the mission of the Special Operations Division. Special Agents assigned to CAT provide tactical support to Secret Service protective details to include high level protectees such as the President and Vice President of the United States of America. CAT members conduct comprehensive mission planning and extensive coordination with support entities to accomplish their mission. CAT personnel receive advance training in weapons handling, tactics, and decision making.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Possess a current valid driver's license. Must be REAL ID compliant.
- Use your official name on your application as it appears on your valid government identification (i.e., REAL ID Driver's License, State ID, Passport).
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The new Center for Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Somerville will provide a transformative continuum of patient and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs.
The Adolescent Unit is a secured psychiatric unit that provides care for children between the ages of 12 and 18. The unit is located in Somerville Hospital. This is an acute care unit, working on assessment, stabilization and after care treatment planning. We have a multidisciplinary team focused on teaching self-regulation, de-escalation and restraint reduction. This approach is used to provide patient and family centered care.

What You'll Do
Key responsibilities may include:
- Preventative Maintenance:
o Regularly inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and performing scheduled maintenance on production equipment like mixing machines, coating machines, clean rooms, and assembly robots to prevent breakdowns.
o Work on continuous process improvements to ensure the line is operating at its designed level at all times.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
o Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with production equipment, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Equipment Calibration:
o Performing routine calibrations on critical measurement devices to ensure accuracy in the production process.
- Quality Control:
o Monitoring production processes to identify potential quality defects and taking corrective actions to maintain product quality standards.
- Data Analysis:
o Interpreting equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
- Safety Compliance:
o Adhering to all safety procedures, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety hazards immediately.

o Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
