POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as member of health care team that provides specialized health care including preventive care and on-going health maintenance for selected groups of patients.
Functions in a variety of settings ranging from ambulatory to inpatient.
Participates in the care of well, acutely ill and chronically ill patients.
EDUCATION A Registered Professional Nurse who is prepared for advanced nursing practice by virtue of knowledge and skills obtained through an accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study acceptable to the Board of Nurse Examiners.
A Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
Must be a participating Medicare provider or eligible to obtain a Medicare provider number.
Three years of nursing experience is required and two years of advanced practice is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas and credentialed by the State to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Must maintain current AHA BLS or higher in accordance with Medical-Dental staff bylaws.
Prescriptive authority is required.
Valid DEA number must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Certification by a national nursing body is required.

Responsibilities:
* Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in Guests' view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Searching for trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti to be removed
* Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and collect rubbish with a dustpan
* Utilizing a leaf blower to clear the midways of debris
* Driving a sprayer truck to wash all park surfaces
* Scrubbing problem areas in the midway
* Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary
* Wiping down all trash receptacles, table tops and counters
* Assisting in other areas of the Park Services Department
* Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
* Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently
* Valid driver's license, with a clear driving record

* Entertaining guests and calming their nerves as they board our world-class rides and attractions
* Controlling buttons and switches to launch attractions out onto the ride course

* Making sure seat belts are tight, loose items are secure, and lap bars are locked to keep guests safe

* Continuously sweep park's midways and attraction areas using a broom, collecting debris and trash with a dustpan while walking through the assigned section
* Sanitizing and cleaning all park fixtures, including but not limited to: trash receptacles, sinks, toilets, mirrors, stalls, lights, vents, counters, tables, walls and floors within an assigned area
* Engaging with guests by greeting them and addressing any questions and concerns
* Emptying and replacing liners in trash receptacles and restock toiletries as needed
* Transporting waste to designated compactor areas, adhering to the park's waste policies
* Responding promptly to and clean-up of any biohazard or vomit spills using appropriate materials and PPE
* Assisting in other areas of the Park Services Department
* Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies, including health and safety protocols
* Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England
