Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general anesthesia care as part of a multidisciplinary anesthesia care team

- Adapt to site-specific clinical workflows and rotate across multiple hospital locations as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC and adhere to hospital policies and credentialing requirements
- Participate in required orientation sessions, hospital modules, and credentialing processes

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Performs electrocardiography procedures, exercise stress testing, nuclear stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, cardiac and vascular ultrasound/imaging and other specialties of ultrasound for diagnostic purposes at Bryan Medical Center.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
2. *Competently performs diagnostic electrocardiograms, holter monitor applications and adult cardiac ultrasounds (Stress Echo and Transesophageal) and vascular ultrasound/imaging and ultrasound specialties in accordance with established departmental procedures.
3. *Performs quantitative calculations from data obtained and records preliminary impression where applicable.
4. *Provides the reading physician with adequate diagnostic information necessary to generate final report; notifies physician if results require immediate attention.
5. *Performs routine equipment maintenance and departmental maintenance including cleaning, disinfection and use of appropriate solutions.
6. *Transports patient and/or equipment, alone or with assistance, in bed, wheeled cart or wheel chair to designated area.
7. *Assists with holding venous and arterial pressure to achieve hemostasis.
8. *Accesses and administers drugs and biologicals that are pertinent to essential job functions in accordance with Medical Center procedures.
9. Cross-trains into other areas of noninvasive technology such as electrocardiograms, signal-averaged electrocardiograms, flight physical electrocardiograms, exercise stress testing, nuclear stress testing and additional noninvasive technology as assigned; cross-trains into other ultrasound modalities.
10. Informs supervisor (s) of any institution or equipment concerns.
11. Communicates/interfaces with Medical Center personnel, medical staff, patients, families and outside agencies to ensure quality patient care.
12. Maintains a safe working environment.
13. Maintains confidentiality of hospital, patient and family information.
14. Participates in quality initiatives and lab accreditations (with ICAEL/ICAVL) activities; participates in quality assurance data collection.
15. Participates in training of echocardiography, vascular ultrasound interns, acting as assigned preceptor or providing general support of their education; completes required documentation as indicated.
16. May deliver medications received on unit to the appropriate patient, RN, physician, medication drawer or medication storage place.
17. Operates mobile ultrasound equipment in all areas of the hospital.
18. Provides education to the patient and family by providing an explanation of the procedure.
19. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
20. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
21. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Maintains clinical competency as required for the unit including but not limited to age-specific competencies relative to patients growth and developmental needs, annual skill competency verification and mandatory education and competencies.
2. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology with special emphasis on hemodynamics.
3. Knowledge of cardiac dysrhythmias and life threatening rhythms.
4. Knowledge of patient education as it relates to cardiovascular treatment, disease prevention and rehabilitation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalency required. Must obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) within two (2) years of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry AND must obtain Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) within (1) year of hire through the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide demonstrated progress toward achieving registry.
For staff with specialized pediatric training and a minimum of one (1) year experience in Pediatric Cardiac Sonography they would not be required to carry the additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) credential to qualify as a level 4 Technologist.
OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) with AED certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Summary:
This position performs a variety of breast imaging procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and competency. Performs dual role breast ultrasound exams performing both mammography images and ultrasound sonography and related procedures by operating Ultrasound equipment to make images of designated areas and evaluate the technical quality of images. • Graduate of/ obtained certification of completion of/ a formal Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
• Active certification by American Registry and Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS, BR) in Breast or by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, BS) with advanced certification in Breast Ultrasound
• 2 years of Breast Imaging experience.
• Demonstrate sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate to patient for anatomical, pathological and diagnostic information and images.

Responsibilities:
1.Serves as in a dual role performing both mammography images and ultrasound sonography.
2.Obtains optimum quality breast images for radiologist interpretation in mammography and the ultrasound modalities
3.Performs screening mammograms unsupervised and performs diagnostic breast imaging studies under the supervision of the radiologist
4.Performs screening examinations independently.
5.Performs diagnostic examinations independently.
6.Assists with diagnostic mammography procedures in the diagnostic mammography suite as needed.
7.Performs Breast ultrasound exams and procedures which may take between 15 to 90 minutes.
8.Obtains optimum quality breast images for radiologist interpretation and assists radiologist with invasive procedures using aseptic techniques.
9.Assesses patients through review of previous studies and history to determine screening versus diagnostic patients.
10.Independently performs clinical assessment and breast sonography examinations with minimal supervision.
11.Trains other mammography technologists on ultrasound techniques and procedures, monitors competencies.
12.Provides appropriate instructions for patients, and assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patients while they are in the sonographer’s care.
13.Provides sonography instruction, oversees and coaches hands on clinical breast ultrasound exam performance for cross-training mammography technologists and students.
14.Trains mammography technologist on the skills required to perform ultrasound imaging and procedures.
15.Develops competencies and ensures that newly trained staff are competent in fulfilling their responsibilities as ultrasound sonographers.
16.Monitors quality and evaluates imaging and new ultrasound sonographers.
17.Develops training programs for new ultrasound equipment as necessary by the practice and maintains skills up to date with the field of ultrasound sonography.

The UC ANR (University of California Agriculture & Natural Resources) Associate Director of Corporate and Foundations Relations (CFR) is to help direct and strengthen the CFR program within Development Services to connect industry and foundations across the organization based on mutual interests and opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Development/Fundraising:
- This role is responsible for strengthening corporate engagement and ensuring retention of current and future corporate and foundation sponsors/donors.
- Plan, organize, and implement strategies to secure foundation and corporate funding for UC ANR.
- This will be done by pursuing the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of foundations and companies.
- Emphasize the importance of relationship-building in working with foundations and corporations and their designees.
- Seek out opportunities to host site visits at ANR and all UCCE (University of California Cooperative Extension) locations and REC (Research and Extension Centers) locations.

- Work with corporate and family foundations to build and strengthen partnerships while also supporting all members of the fundraising team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with cooperative extension and program staff to stay abreast of funding needs for academic research and extension, programs, and capital projects.
- Operates independently with a portfolio of corporate and foundation funders, including some of the division's most important corporate and/or foundation prospects.

- Capacity to travel as needed for solicitation and stewardship purposes.
Proposal Writing/Communications:
- Prepares and coordinates proposals for non-government organizations, private and family foundations, and corporate funders.

- Represents the organization in meetings and events as requested by the unit lead.

Administration:

Requirements:
