The Payroll Administrator provides administrative and operational support to a complex, multi-company payroll function. The Office of the Provost and Academic Affairs seeks applications for the position of Vice Provost for Faculty Excellence, with an anticipated start date in Summer 2026. Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice Provost serves as the senior advisor to the Provost on faculty affairs. This individual will lead faculty development programs, including new faculty and leadership development, the Faculty Fellowship Program, the Karen L. Smith Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, and UCF's COACHE survey initiative.

The Vice Provost will lead the coordination with university stakeholders on processes and documents related to faculty promotion and tenure, post-tenure review, as well as the Annual Evaluation Standards and Procedures (AESP) criteria.

The position will collaborate with deans, administrators, faculty and staff across UCF's 12 colleges and other academic administrative units to advance faculty excellence.

• Provides staff support to the Builders & Developers Council, Multi-Family Council, County Working Groups, BUILDPAC, Industry Action Fund and other committees and task forces as assigned by the Executive Officer.

• Attends and participates in government and community meetings and reports to the members any issues affecting the industry.

• Obtains and tracks proposed legislation and regulations for submission to committees and active industry advocates for analysis and recommendations.

• Establishes and maintains a grassroots network of members to assist on critical legislative and regulatory issues.

• Establishes and maintains relationships with other groups and organizations and serves as a liaison between the local, state and national associations on public policy issues.

• Maintains information files on issues and disseminates information to members as necessary.

• Contributes to the association’s advocacy communication strategy through the creation of emails, articles, social media posts and other forms of communication.

• Actively assists in key association events, programs and initiatives.

• Collaborates with other team members on multiple projects simultaneously in progress.

• Functions as a part of a highly cohesive, small-staff team and contributes to the overall success of the organization.

The Opportunity

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine (COM) invites applications for a non-tenure earning assistant professor of medicine or associate professor of medicine position in the Department of Medical Education. The University of Central Florida, College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking exceptional candidates for two full-time faculty positions within the Department of Medicine's Aerospace Medicine program at the assistant, associate or professor of medicine rank.
