The Technical Project Manager (TPM) has three main responsibilities:
- Project Manage all technical tasks during implementation and upgrades.
- Install and configure servers and the Care Logistics applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on premise.
- Perform technical operations and oversee availability, performance, and supportability of our observability infrastructure.
The TPM acts as the project manager and liaison between Care Logistics and the customer for all technical activities. The TPM is responsible for coordinating the system configuration, sizing, ordering, and installation while technically engineering and managing the integration of Care Logistics solutions. They work closely with Solutions Delivery and customer resources in support of organizational objectives. Solutions Delivery functions include project delivery tasks such as solution sizing, technical project planning, customer guidance, system installation, system validation, system testing, technical training, and support of technical onsite events. The TPM facilitates DevOps functions between development and the Solutions Delivery teams to ensure technical operations are correctly executed, effectively communicated, and continuously improved.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solutions Delivery Functions
- Delivery components of customer project tasks which include:
- Assist with the design and implementation of new technologies
- Assist with the sizing of customer systems
- Train new employees on all aspects of the role
- Considered a Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of the technology and project delivery
- Install and troubleshoot software, hardware, and services necessary to support Care Logistics solutions
- Lead the engineering of hospital customer’s technical solutions
- Lead, plan, organize and drive the design, testing, and implementation of Care Logistics software solutions and related advisory services
- Educate customer on technical aspects of the Care Logistics system
- Interface with service and hardware system vendors to build and configure systems
- Participate in onsite customer events, including technical go-live
- Technical Operations and Observability:
- Manage alert and monitoring configuration
- Collect, aggregate, and visualize metrics to provide actionable insights
- Advise right-sizing of AWS infrastructure resources to optimize cost and performance
- Manage incident response
- Provide insight to Cloud Center of Excellence
- Additional tasks which include:
- Provide primary technical support for project team members
- Provide Tier 2 level support for Care Logistics Support team
- Create and maintain internal environments for use by Care Logistics Client Engagement team
- Create Knowledge Base articles and other technical documentation for use by Care Logistics employees and customers
- Define and maintain a clear, concise documented process for the implementation and integration of the system
- Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and maintain existing application modules
- Participate in DevOps initiatives to improve products and operations
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
- PMP certification and/or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years hands on experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as EC2, RDS, Systems Manager, VPN, CloudWatch
- 2-4 years of monitoring systems experience using tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.
- 4-6 years demonstrated project management experience
- Advanced operation and maintenance of Linux (Red Hat Operating System)
- Demonstrated advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills
- 3+ years integrating software/hardware systems in client-server and cloud environments
- Proven organizational and delivery skills

Carrier Development Manager
The Carrier Development Manager is responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding MWL's carrier network to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and scalable transportation capacity for our customers. This role blends strategic growth initiatives with hands-on relationship management, recruiting new carrier partners, negotiating competitive rates, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to carriers while aligning capacity strategies with MWL's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Carrier Recruitment & Onboarding
* Identify, qualify, and onboard new carrier partners across multiple modes (truckload, LTL, intermodal, etc.).
* Maintain a robust and diversified carrier pipeline to support customer and company growth.
* Ensure carriers meet MWL's compliance standards (safety, insurance, certifications).
Strategic Carrier Network Growth
* Identify gaps in carrier coverage by geography, equipment type, and industry segment.
* Develop and execute strategies to expand MWL's carrier network accordingly.
* Leverage digital freight platforms, load boards, and analytics tools to optimize sourcing.
Relationship Management
* Build and maintain long-term partnerships with carriers to secure consistent capacity and strengthen loyalty.
* Act as the primary point of contact for carrier escalations, service issues, and conflict resolution.
* Conduct regular business reviews with carriers to evaluate performance, opportunities, and growth potential.
Rate Negotiation & Procurement
* Negotiate competitive rates while balancing service quality and profitability.
* Provide market intelligence and capacity insights to the pricing and procurement team.
* Support customer bids, RFPs, and contractual agreements by aligning carrier capacity strategies.
Performance Management & Development
* Track and analyze carrier performance using KPIs (on-time delivery, acceptance rates, claims, communication, etc.).
* Develop and implement corrective action plans for underperforming carriers.
* Proactively support carrier partners with process training, visibility tools, and relationship-building to improve long-term performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure carriers meet all federal, state, and MWL compliance requirements (FMCSA, DOT, insurance, safety).
* Manage onboarding documentation, carrier contracts, and risk assessments.
* Partner with legal and insurance teams for claims, disputes, and liability issues.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
* 5-7 years of experience in carrier sales, procurement, or logistics operations (minimum 3 years required).
* Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety, and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and carrier management platforms.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-driven SCM Specialist (B2B) to spearhead our North American supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will initially lead the setup and stabilization of our logistics processes on-site at our West Coast Fulfillment Center. What You’ll Do

- Operational Setup: Directly manage B2B retail logistics channels from the West Coast hub during the initial launch and stabilization phase.
- Inbound & Outbound Oversight: Supervise inbound shipments from Global HQ (Korea) and manage all outbound B2B orders, warehouse transfers, and retail distributions.
- Inventory Control & Reconciliation: Lead on-site inventory management, ensuring 100% stock accuracy through regular reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical audits.

Qualifications

- On-site Flexibility: Ability to work on-site at the Bloomington, CA facility full-time during the setup phase, with the intent to transition to the LA office later.
- Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience coordinating with 3PL providers and managing logistics for major U.S. Retailers (Beauty, CPG, or Consumer Goods).

The Supply Chain Overages, Shorts, and Damages (OS&D) Intern will review all business OS&D and compliance incidents, manage documentation required for logistics claims and deduction refutations, and determine root causes in a timely manner.
