The Boeing Company is currently seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the Flight Simulation Labs team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The roles will involve software development for tools that support simulation infrastructure across Flight Simulation Labs. Selected candidates will be aligned to a statement of work that best suits their interests and skillset, some of which could include:

• Creating core simulation infrastructure to serve as a jumping-off point for programs developing flight simulation capabilities

• Developing tools to simulate, monitor, and capture messages between subsystems in a lab environment

• Modeling various aircraft capabilities, including the ability to run constructive scenarios in a testing environment

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

The DevSecOps Lead Engineer will architect and implement secure development and execution environments for the rapid prototyping and experimentation we use to answer our customers’ toughest questions about future technologies and capabilities. The Virtual Warfare Center executes far-reaching analysis to address military capability gaps in and across multiple warfighting domains in the face of accelerating adversary capabilities. We are looking for our founding Staff Elixir Backend Software Engineer to build Community's technical foundation from the ground up. You'll be employee #1 on Papa Community's engineering team, reporting directly to Papa Community's GM with dotted-line mentorship from Papa core's engineering leadership.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Build the technical foundation for Papa Community's virtual care platform, designing and implementing systems that connect EHR, care management tools, billing infrastructure, and patient communication platforms.

• Develop secure and scalable integrations between healthcare systems, ensuring reliable data flows and HIPAA-compliant architecture that can support growth to thousands of patients.

• Build data infrastructure and internal tools that enable operational intelligence, automation, and real-time visibility into patient outcomes and care workflows.

• Create systems that support clinical teams with dashboards, automated patient outreach triggers, and clinical decision support tools.

• Lead key technical decisions, including evaluating build-vs-buy tradeoffs, selecting technologies, and architecting solutions that balance speed, reliability, and scalability.

• Establish engineering standards and best practices, including code quality standards, testing expectations, deployment processes, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.

• Expert-level proficiency in Elixir.

• Proven experience building and shipping reliable production systems.

• Experience improving software quality through code reviews, automated testing, controlled rollouts, and monitoring.
