Position Overview

Reporting to the Director, Network & Telecommunications, the Senior Network Engineer serves as the principal technical authority for the Cambridge Health Alliance enterprise voice and data network. This role entails the coordination of all network implementations, modifications, and maintenance, ensuring stringent alignment with the overall enterprise design. The incumbent will function as a senior engineer to LAN, WAN, and Cableplant engineers and technicians, thereby fostering high-quality, patient-centered care through the deployment of secure and innovative health IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and furnish recommendations for strategically appropriate support tools and systems, including network management platforms, traffic analysis solutions, and retrospective/prospective projection modeling.
• Lead the configuration, installation, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting of micro-segmentation, routers, switches, wireless controllers and infrastructure, and other critical communication devices.
• Systematically monitor response times, bandwidth utilization, and resource availability to propose and implement performance enhancements. Utilize specialized surveying tools to optimize coverage and capacity within high-density environments.
• Design and administer the IP address scheme and associated IP address assignment mechanisms.
• Design, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise wireless networks, including the execution of site surveys and comprehensive RF planning.
• Configure and troubleshoot wireless access points (APs) and wireless LAN controllers (WLCs).
• Ensure the integrity and security of the wireless network through the implementation of WPA2/3 protocols, and RADIUS integration. Proven hands-on experience implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
• Resolve complex and atypical network problems, employing advanced packet capture and protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Monitor and coordinate the maintenance of network hardware and software to ensure maximum operational efficiency and uptime.
• Maintain up-to-date, meticulously detailed network topological diagrams and documentation for the entire CHA network and all business partner connections.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications

Education, and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field is required; equivalent significant professional experience (e.g., a minimum of 6 years total experience) may be substituted.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in network engineering within an enterprise environment is mandatory, with at least 5 years served in a Senior Network Engineering role.
• Experience within a large, distributed, and complex healthcare organization is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Juniper, Aruba.
• Advanced and comprehensive knowledge of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP, RIPv2, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, EVPN-VXLAN and 802.1x standards.
• Deep understanding and practical application of VLANs, data/voice trunking, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Link Aggregation Group (LAG), and layer 2/3 fault tolerance design.

About the Role

As a Hivemind Build and CI engineer, you will design and implement engineering centric automation across the organization. You will work closely with the product development teams implementing policies and guidelines into the continuous integration and delivery systems. • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the technical execution of complex precast projects. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between sophisticated structural design and successful project delivery. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that every element—from initial drawing preparation to final onsite installation—meets our rigorous standards for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the engineering, structural analysis, and technical specification for multiple concurrent precast projects.
• Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles from award to closeout, managing schedules, budgets, and resource forecasting.
• Design & Optimization: Provide expertise in the design of precast elements and internal plant improvement projects, including ancillary structures and manufacturing facilities.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, architects, and public agencies (including Caltrans) to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Mentorship: Supervise and develop a team of project engineers and drafters, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Safety & Quality: Enforce strict HSE protocols and implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and agency standards.
• Field Representation: Occasionally visit jobsites to oversee installation and represent the company’s technical interests on-the-ground.

Professional Qualifications

• Licensure: Active California Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in precast concrete design and project management within the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA-3D, ETABS, or SAP2000).
• High proficiency in drafting software and Bluebeam; experience with BIM is a significant plus.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Post-graduate degree preferred).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication, strong presentation skills, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Logistics: Valid California Driver’s License and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

The Senior Project Engineer, is responsible for preparing engineering drawings and managing (planning, forecasting, resourcing, etc.) projects in the public and private sectors. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical specification of ongoing projects for the proper implementation of all project elements. The Senior Project Engineer is to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, and staff members during the course of the project and must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The Senior Project Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer, President, other Project Engineers, Detailers/Drafters and work with staff across departments to ensure successful project delivery within

scope, budget and schedule. Occasionally, the Senior Project Engineer will be required to work at project jobsites to oversee the installation of products as a representative.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple precast concrete projects concurrently, from project award to contract closeout, ensuring adherence to project timelines (schedule), budgets, and quality standards.

Provide technical expertise in the design, engineering and detailing of plant improvement projects (eg. ancillary building structures, casting beds and manufacturing facilities).
• Client and Agency Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, contractors and agencies (eg. Caltrans) throughout the project lifecycle, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing expectations effectively.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project engineers, drafters, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project execution and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in precast concrete design, engineering, and project management within the construction industry.

Job Overview

Effectively design, develop, and document medical devices and medical equipment that satisfy internal and external customer needs and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

* Interprets customer specifications to define requirements for mechanical designs.

* Performs first principal analysis related to appropriate aspects of mechanical design.

Minimum Requirements

* BS in engineering discipline, mechanical preferred.

* Minimum 2-4 years related experience, or an MS and less than one year experience.

* Experience with a solid modeling CAD program, preferably SolidWorks and/or ProE.

* Experience in medical equipment / device design with experience in electromechanical, electro- pneumatic, and/or blood pumping equipment development.

* Knowledge in medical device industry regulations and practices - ISO 13485, ISO 7198 & GMP.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat.

* Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, DFM&A (cost/tooling/process considerations), preferably using SolidWorks CAD software.

* Understanding in design and development of injection molded plastic, plastic extrusion, casting, sheet metal, metal stampings, additive manufacturing processes, and machined metal components, and assemblies with high part counts highly desirable.

* Knowledge of mechanical design and development using metric ANSI/ISO dimensioning and drafting standards highly desirable.

* Understanding of GD&T, mechanical measurement and testing equip., and statistical analysis of test data.

* Experience with electronic document control systems in medical device and/or medical equipment design and development.

* Highly skilled at analytical reasoning, mechanism design, creative problem solving, and mathematical analysis.

* Ability to create and meet scheduled timelines (manage and coordinate tasks as required).
