Mid-Sized Firm Hiring: Real Estate Finance Associates (NY) | $170K–$230K
A well-regarded mid-sized law firm is seeking two mid-level associates to join its Real Estate Finance practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions with institutional clients in a collaborative, deal-driven environment.
Position 1: Mid-Level Real Estate Finance Associate (Senior)
Compensation: $210,000–$230,000 + discretionary bonus
Billables: 1,800 hours
Experience:
- Representing financial institutions in acquisition, construction, and permanent financing
- Deep experience closing multi-family and commercial real estate loans
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating:
- Loan agreements
- Mortgages
- Guaranties
- Ancillary loan documents
- Reviewing corporate diligence
- Managing deal flow and participating in large multi-party calls
- Handling multiple transactions simultaneously
Position 2: Mid-Level Real Estate / Finance Associate
Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 + discretionary bonus
Billables: 1,800 hours
Experience:
- Real estate finance transactions
- Exposure to loan closings representing lenders and/or borrowers
Responsibilities:
- Supporting deal teams on:
- Drafting loan documents
- Reviewing diligence
- Assisting with commercial and real estate loan closings
Requirements (Both Roles):
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Strong transactional experience in real estate finance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience in Not-For-Profit financing or Affordable Housing Finance a plus.
