Principal System Embedded Engineer (SONiC)

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain features and enhancements for the SONiC NOS platform, interfacing with SAI and platform infrastructure.

- With at least 1 year of hands-on SONiC development experience is must.
- Strong experience with the SONiC network operating system and architecture.
- Demonstrated feature contributions to the SONiC open-source community.
- Experience using SONiC SAI for new feature development and integration.
- Experience with datapath forwarding features such as BFD, FIB, RIB, ERSPAN, ACLs, QoS, unicast, and multicast.

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Test Architect to lead the Test Strategy, Test Architecture, and Quality Engineering initiatives for our Guidewire transformation program. This role involves driving end-to-end quality across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and all associated integrations. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership, enhance automation maturity, ensure seamless test governance, and align all testing practices with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and own the overall test strategy, test architecture, and quality governance for the Guidewire program.
- Establish test frameworks, standards, guidelines, and best practices for:
- Functional testing
- Integration testing
- End-to-end testing
- Performance testing
- Regression testing
- Partner with business, product, development, and QA teams to define test scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
2. Test Architecture & Automation
- Architect scalable automation frameworks for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Lead automation efforts for Web, API, batch and integration layers using:
- Selenium
- TestNG
- Cucumber
- REST-Assured
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Define coding standards, reusable components, and automation libraries to ensure maintainable and scalable automation.
3. Quality Engineering & Governance
- Ensure testing aligns with Guidewire OOTB functionalities, customizations, and edge-case validations.
- Provide technical leadership through reviews of test design, automation code, and execution reports.
- Drive quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting for progress tracking, risk identification, and decision‑making.
4. Test Management & Coordination
- Oversee end‑to‑end test cycles, environment readiness, test data management, and defect governance.
- Collaborate with onsite/offshore QA teams for consistent and on-time delivery.
- Work closely with development, architecture, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall QA experience with 5+ years as a Test Architect in large-scale enterprise programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire (Cloud or On‑prem) across:
- PolicyCenter
- BillingCenter
- ClaimCenter
- Integration Gateway / Edge API / GOSU functionalities
- In-depth understanding of Guidewire testing tools, test design, and test data strategies.
- Advanced experience in automation frameworks:
- Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber
- API automation (REST/SOAP)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $122420 to $147413

The Test Solutions Center (TSC) team within the Hardware Discipline Center is a multi-discipline organization that provides test solutions to support production lines for our entire missile portfolio. The software team within TSC is responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TSC products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. The Software Engineer II position is focused on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The California Policy Lab (CPL) generates research insights for government impact. Position Description
The Health & Safety Net Researcher will lead CPL's research portfolio relating to the social safety net and health, in collaboration with and under the oversight of CPL's faculty affiliates and Research Director. This is an exciting role for a skilled safety net and/or health researcher who wants to design and conduct policy-relevant quantitative research in partnership with state and local agencies throughout California. The Health & Safety Net Researcher conducts quantitative research, including conceptualizing research questions and design; requesting, receiving, and cleaning data files; creating and implementing an analysis plan; conducting quality assurance reviews; summarizing results in documents for both academic and policy audiences; and generating replicability documentation. The Health & Safety Net Researcher can implement multiple research designs and analysis techniques, including but not limited to randomized control trials, quasi-experimental designs using natural experiments or other such variation, and difference-in-difference and event study analyses. Further, a successful candidate can lead research projects under the oversight of CPL's Research Director with small teams, write proposals to support research projects, and ensure timely and high-quality completion of research tasks. The Health & Safety Net Researcher will mentor and supervise other research staff. The position will report to the Research Director and will work directly with leading social policy researchers at UC and other top universities, state and local government agency staff, and CPL's leadership team.
Position Responsibilities
- Under the oversight of the Research Director, conduct quantitative research, including conceptualizing research questions and design; requesting, receiving, and cleaning data files; creating and implementing analysis plans; conducting quality assurance reviews; summarizing results in documents for both academic and policy audiences; and generating replicability documentation.
- Annually publish multiple reports and policy briefs based on research.

Position description
This position will assist with research at the forefront of Behavioral, Public, and Labor Economics. The position entails analyzing public and private datasets using quasi-experimental methods, assisting with literature reviews, helping set-up and analyze randomized experiments both online and in the field, and using computational techniques to test predictions of economic theory and to evaluate public policies. Will perform data analysis using statistical packages such as Stata and perform numerical simulations using languages such as Matlab. Will utilize collaborative tools like GitHub to manage projects and tasks. We will help prepare the researcher for applying to graduate programs in economics.
Duties will include:
- Assists in setting up experiments in the field and online. Coordinates surveys and the data collection process. Responds to questions from participants.
- Assist in the set-up and analysis of randomized experiments both online and in the field, and using computational techniques to test predictions of economic theory and to evaluate public policies.
- Applies professional or research concepts to perform analysis of data and systems pertaining to moderately complex projects, policies, initiatives, / processes, and / or functions:
- Assists with research at the forefront of Behavioral, Public, and Labor Economics by analyzing public and private datasets using quasi-experimental methods. Conducts data construction, analysis and processing. Performs data analysis using statistical packages such as STATA and perform numerical simulations using languages such as Matlab.

Flight Software links together the mechanical, avionics, algorithmic, and embedded worlds to actually make the airplane fly. As a Flight Software Test V&V Engineer, you will develop the test cases to support the test verification processes ensuring that the aviation products we develop are safe to fly and help provide a high-fidelity training environment for our flight-test crews.
Responsibilities
As a Flight Software Test V&V Engineer on the Simulation and Test Systems team, you will be instrumental in testing and deploying autonomous aircraft software. The Simulation and Test Systems team architects, builds, and maintains the hardware and software infrastructure necessary to verify aircraft performance prior to flight testing. Your responsibilities include verifying flight software functionality across diverse integrated test environments, such as software-in-the-loop (SIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), and on-aircraft testing. You will also author and execute test procedures for on-ground aircraft testing.
A key part of this role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated test scripts within our test ecosystem. These scripts will support functional testing and requirements-driven software tests necessary for FAA certification.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position. You will coordinate with engineering teams throughout the company to develop test plans, execute tests, investigate issues, and drive problems to closure. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of test and simulation equipment.

3+ years professional experience testing software
3+ years professional experience Python and exposure to C++ build systems

The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Specialty Engineering Directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrating state of the art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. TEE has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment.
This position is focused on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software as a part of on-site factory support of systems to support weapon system product development. The selected candidate will develop applications, libraries, and instrument drivers using the software style, development language, and integrated development environment specified by the organization.
The selected candidate will contribute to multidiscipline engineering teams. Typical work involves the development of both engineering and production equipment, environments, and systems. As such, the candidate will contribute to the completion of all stages of product development for RMD weapon system products. They will be expected to work, either as a part of a team or independently, to design, develop, and implement system level applications in support of producing and maintaining weapon system products.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio in a Windows Operating System (OS)
- Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently
- Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation
- Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment
- Develop and derive requirements for software products
- Lead and mentor junior software engineers
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience in developing and integrating software applications using programming languages including but not limited to C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
- Experience in utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementation and ensure integrity of the software products.
- Prior experience in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is required.
- Prior experience in laboratory test instrumentation, electronics, and software (Ex. oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters)

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniques
- Experience of the development of software drivers for the operation of computer hardware interfaces
- Experience in common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422
- Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize software architecture and design
- Experience in software development lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile
- Experience with Software Configuration Management principles
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server or GitHub
- Written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in leading teams/projects in a technical capacity
