Job Summary and Qualifications
- Under the supervision of the ACNO, the Director of Clinical Operations, you will have accountability and is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Medical City Surgical Hospital Alliance.

Qualifications
Education and Licensure:

We’re looking for an Associate Director, Online Learning to join an Association in Washington, DC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will require you to work onsite three (3) days per week. Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and responsible Camp Director to lead our camp program operations on-site at each one of our Sofive facilities listed above. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a background in sports or recreation, the ability to manage all program operations on site, and a passion for driving overall growth of the camp. Directors should have experience leading people, organizing, implementing, and managing a vast range of activities across several groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- CPR, First Aid, and Epi-pen certification (must already be certified or be willing to earn certification prior to the start of camp)
Staffing
- Hire all camp staff - including assistant director(s) and coaches.
- Develop a training and development program to enhance the skillset of assistant directors and coaches
- Schedule staff hours for all weeks of camp based on registration numbers and coach availability
- Ensure background checks on assistant directors and coaches are completed prior to the start of camp
Curriculum
- Develop an engaging and fun curriculum with games and activities that are tailored to our camp programs (programs vary by location but can range from: multi-sport, soccer, flag football)
- Develop different and unique themes for each week of camp (2-3 weeks depending on location)

On-Site Camp Logistics
- Be the first staff member to arrive on site and the last member to leave

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Nursing Operations and Patient Care Services is an active member of MedStar Health entity-based Division of Nursing's (DON) leadership/management team and is responsible for multiple defined areas of organized nursing services (clinical or administrative general or specialized). Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Formulates implements and interprets the philosophy objectives strategic plan goals standards of practice policies and procedures for the division of nursing. Assumes leadership for the planning development execution day-to-day operations and ongoing evaluation of patient care services within the assigned clinical areas/departments according to MedStar Health/entity mission vision and SPIRIT Values and Nursing's philosophy strategic plan and annual goals.Plans directs monitors and evaluates the nursing and patient care delivery systems to ensure the care performed exemplifies the Professional Nursing Practice Model; promotes continuous consistent efficient and accountable delivery of patient/family care; and adheres to the State Nursing Practice Act regulatory ethical and accreditation standards and organizational/departmental policies and procedures.Demonstrates responsibility for fiscal planning/financial management budget-related operational issues and oversight through advocacy budget development and allocation of resources. Administration

- Interface with nurse clinicians/resident educators and social workers to provide resident care continuity, between hospital and home.
- Coordinate services to meet resident needs from the time of the new referral through the initial at home intake visit.
- Provide consultation to agency staff regarding new home care nursing treatments.
- Maintain liaison with attending physicians.
- Establish and implement priorities for services when resource limitations require.
- Coordinate referrals to other community agencies as appropriate.
Quality Improvement:
- Establishes Quality Improvement planning teams.
- Identifies data collection requirements and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and to ensure quality of client/resident care.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, with a combination of long-term care dementia care or acute care. Home care experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory/management experience in a health care setting.
- CPR certified.
- Knowledge of Home Health regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
