Position Title Director Clinical Operations
- Radiology Bell Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest: The Director, Radiology Clinical Operations, provides leadership and direction to staff within assigned Radiology Departments to provide world class imaging services.

The Director is responsible for Mission and Values implementation, operational leadership, and direction of assigned areas.

Is responsible for assigned services for performance planning and improvement; clinical quality; fiscal and service results; and patient, customer, and employee satisfaction.

The Director is responsible for promoting timely, high quality, and efficient Radiology operations.

Provides leadership related to quality improvement and performance improvement efforts within areas of responsibility and promotes positive, collegial relationships among all staff within all areas of Radiology.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Provides clinical direction and leadership to the Radiology Services.

Directs clinical operations and integrates services within Radiology and with other departments.

Directs and manages clinical oversight of all divisional depts.

Creates effective work plans, which include identifying the correct resources, staffing, processes, and space needed by the work unit.

Directs improvement work as process owner while guiding leaders and teams towards efficiency of work unit operations and use of resources.

Sets the work unit's priorities in alignment with TUKHS priorities.

Delegates authority and meets deadlines.

Identifies needs of Radiology leaders and staff as well as customers to ensure priorities are aligned with the needs and priorities of Health system and other customers.

Sets goals for each Radiology modality in collaboration with Sr.

Director Radiology and Vice President Health professions.

Ensures adequate resources are available to provide high quality care.

Reviews needs for staffing, capital, capacity, and support.

Assesses staffing plans and volume projections with demand projections in collaboration with Asst Director Business Operations.

Champions quality / performance improvement efforts.

Sets priorities and oversees progress for department-specific PI initiatives based on current performance, regulatory requirements, and institutional.

Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory standards and requirements including Joint Commission, Dept of Health, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, and others.

Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing teams across operational areas.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

Promote a proactive people development culture by identifying and cultivating current and future leaders.

Promotes positive, collaborative relationships between Health system departments and Radiology.

Sets example of constructive, professional, and positive relationships at all times.

Promotes proactive issue identification and resolution between Radiology and primary customers.

Ensures active and productive participation at forums for issue identification and resolution.

Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience Master's Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university.

5 or more years of experience in Radiology or Imaging Services Leadership/Management Preferred Education and Experience American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified Required Language Skills Fluent English
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.

Knowledge Requirements Proficient in Quality Improvement Techniques and Lean methodologies.

Commands advanced communication skills with various levels of professionals within multiple media/formats.

Proficient with Microsoft Applications.

The Position

- The Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the oversight throughout the department including the direct supervision of approximately 30+ FTEs.
- Reporting to the Director of Nursing (DON), the Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the supervision of multiple areas including Perioperative Services, Scheduling, Environmental Services teams, and Scrub and Central Sterile Technicians.
- This leader will collaborate closely with surgeons from OBGYN, GI, General Surgery, Ortho, Spine/Neuro, ENT, and Ophthalmology specialty areas and will foster physician partnerships throughout the organization and ensure the continuation and improvement of efficiencies within the OR.
- Supports and contributes to the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of Littleton Regional Healthcare with a continuous focus on excellence in customer service and patient care delivery.
- Seeking a hands-on leader who will be willing and able to implement and foster a positive work environment by encouraging strong communication, collaboration, and accountability throughout the department.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required; MSN is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of five years of direct clinical experience within an OR setting is required.
- Active RN license is required.
