Practices as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team responsible for the provision of medical nutrition therapy. Fosters continuity of the Nutrition Care Process across all phases of the continuum of care as recommended by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Performs nutrition assessment for patients identified to be at nutrition risk based on criteria outlined by the hospital and best practice standards. Calculates metabolic nutrient requirements according to the age and disease specific needs of patients. Performs nutrition focused physical exam to further evaluate risk of malnutrition as indicated. Develops a nutrition diagnosis as appropriate and consistent with the Nutrition Care Process. Creates and implements a nutrition intervention and care plan for all patients with a nutrition diagnosis. Continuously evaluates and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, family, and/or members of the health care team on recommended nutrition intervention(s) to accomplish nutrition goals; which may include, but is not limited to any of the following topics: specialized diet, enteral/oral medical nutrition supplements, food selections, eating behaviors, and community nutrition resources. Responsibilities:
- Performs professional duties in accordance with facility policies/procedures and standards of professional practice, State of New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, OBRA and HIPAA.

Qualifications:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, University or nursing school.

- Must hold a registered nursing (RN, LPN) license within the State of New Hampshire. Certified in intravenous administration preferred. Must maintain CEU's annually. CPR is required.

Position Summary & Highlights:This MA position will help support surgeons, cardiologists, APP providers, PAs, and NPs in General Cardiology and a variety of sub-specialties such as Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology, and post chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

40 hours/week, 4-10 hour shifts , Monday - Friday.
Shift start around 7:00am/7:30am.
This position does not work weekends or major holidays
In addition to primary MA duties, you will perform EKGs and place heart monitors on patients and educate patients on their use.
You will complete prior authorizations and patient calls, and tasks in the in-basket.
An ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is self-motivated and likes to be challenged, is driven, and has strong critical thinking skills. You enjoy developing relationships with physicians and patients.
Experience with cardiac medications, EKG placement, and rhythm knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and telemetry readings
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Idaho or multistate RN license required
Multistate license must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire
BLS certification at date of hire
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

The Meridian Health Plaza (MHP) Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a personable and hard-working Medical Assistant!
Position Summary & HighlightsThis position will work with a busy Family Medicine physician and will also work with other MAs and providers as well in a great workplace culture.

Our family medicine providers can address diagnosed health concerns early, before they become serious, as well as help you better manage existing conditions including physical, mental, and social health issues across all ages and stages of life.
This MA position will support a busy physician and also will support nurse visits, in-basket tasks, and float to other providers in the clinic when needed.
In addition to primary MA duties, you will administer immunizations, complete child well visits, and assist with minor procedures.
You will also perform phlebotomy, POC testing, UAs, ear lavages, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.
An Ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, solid follow through, and has strong critical thinking skills.
You also like working in a strong team environment, have effective communication skills, and providing excellent patient care!
36 hours per week, 4 - 9-hour days.
This position will work either Tuesdays - Fridays (Mondays off).
Around the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm.
