Change Management Consultant
Job Description
Masis Staffing Solutions is partnered with a leading financial services organization to hire a senior Change Management Consultant to drive readiness and adoption for medium-to-large enterprise initiatives. This is a high-visibility role working closely with program leadership and key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and measurable outcomes.
Role Details
- Title: Change Management Consultant (CFPMO)
- Location: Hybrid — Boston, MA or Springfield, MA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
- Contract End Date: April 6, 2027 (anticipated 12-month engagement)
- Pay Rate: $60–$68 per hour (W2), based on experience
- Interview Required: Yes, multiple
What You’ll Do
- Build and execute change management plans using a structured methodology
- Orchestrate cross-initiative change strategy (sequence changes, anticipate collisions, align to business KPIs)
- Partner with project/program leadership as a trusted strategic advisor
- Define and gain approval of change management scope of work
- Create and tailor change deliverables including:
- Change impact assessments
- Readiness & adoption assessments
- Communications and engagement plans
- Learning needs analysis, personas, knowledge checks and surveys
- Sponsor/leadership toolkits and coaching
- Change champions networks / councils
- Monitor readiness/adoption metrics and adjust strategies proactively
- Identify and mitigate people/adoption risks and issues
- Report progress and insights in project and steering committee forums
- Coach leaders and stakeholders on change management practices; mentor other practitioners
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years leading change management with proven readiness/adoption results
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Change Management certification (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP, or equivalent)
- Strong experience designing communications, engagement, and learning/training programs
- Demonstrated ability to influence sponsors and stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with change tools (dashboards, survey tools, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years in change management and large-scale transformation initiatives
- Master’s degree (or equivalent expertise)
- Agile/Waterfall familiarity; transformation office or PMO experience
- Strong executive presence
