Job Purpose

The Hotline Support Technician/ Engineer role is to delight customer through assisting with online support and telecommunication. This is a highly impactful role, requiring a generalist’s mindset and an eagerness to learn and develop a broad expertise of CPS’s products, across the electrical, and software domains. As technical support personnel, you would be responsible for assisting customer with CPS inverters issues at site through phone and remote monitoring portal.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support installers and field technicians across phone and email channels by answering common questions, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving technical requests.

• Provide feedback for the enhancement and development of existing products based on customer and installer input.

• Monitor Solar sites for customer and provide regular update on the inverter error.

• Provide response to all online open tickets on the monitoring portal.

• Perform diagnostic activites on portal and clear the faults/ errors remotely for inverter at customer sites and assist service team.

• Organize fleet or batch actions and coordinate service projects for customers (manage communications, organize action plans, coordinate within CPS, communicate proactively and in steady, structured way for customer resolutions – secure customer delight during such efforts)

• Be professional in all aspects of work quality, communications, company and individual presentation

• Provide remote technical assistance to our field techs and Engineer while they are on site. Qualifications:

• At least High School diploma is required or 4 year degree bachelors in similar domain.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, Document Management. experience is preferred

• Vocational, technology training coursework including hands-on training

• 1 year of experience with solar and/or energy industry services, commissioning, and applications preferred, but on-the-job training is available in some cases

• Knowledge of solar PV inverter and technology (residential, commercial, utility, power conversion)

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Diplomatic and artful communicator when challenged by field or service issues

Job Responsibilities for Commercial and Industrial Electrician can include:

The Production Supervisor serves as a vital member of the manufacturing operations site leadership team reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for leading Manufacturing functions for a hydraulic assembly operations plant. • Familiarity with generator paralleling systems, medium-voltage distribution, and utility interconnection.
• Relevant certifications such as Journeyman or Master Electrician license, NFPA 70E certification, OEM factory training certifications, or BICSI credentials.
• Electrical Engineering degree, Electrical Technology degree, or equivalent technical training (military technical training fully valued).
• Experience supporting commissioning, capacity expansion, or new-build critical infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with BMS/EPMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Vertiv Trellis, or similar).
• U.S. military service with technical MOS/rating experience is a recognized asset.

Work Environment

Project Engineer - Fluid Power Hydraulics

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer with expertise in fluid power hydraulics to join our team. In this role, you'll complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements, with a strong focus on designing fluid power systems from cradle to grave. This includes starting with initial concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams through development, building, and shipping the final product. Approximately 80% of the work involves hydraulics (pumping oil), with 20% focused on water or lubrication systems. You'll also improve engineering drawings and ensure that all components and systems sent to the shop floor are fully engineered for form, fit, and function.

Objective:

Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling elements, emphasizing fluid power hydraulics design and system integration.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with preparation of proposals for fluid power systems, as directed by the Project Manager.
• Conduct engineering reviews of jobs, ensuring form, fit, and function of components in fluid power applications.
• Write change orders as required.
• Answer questions for manufacturing personnel during the build process.
• Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, conferring with management.
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying phases and elements, assigning personnel, and reviewing bids from contractors.
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests on fluid power systems.
• Determine project schedule by studying plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing elements.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Design fluid power systems from concept to completion, including simple circuitry integration.
• Improve engineering drawings and verify that all designs for the shop floor are thoroughly engineered.
