All work performed must comply with Medline ReNewal’s standard operating procedures as well as FDA guidelines to ensure patient safety.
Decontamination Technicians must be able to work with strong smells (chemicals, body fluids) while handling contamination and/or sharp surgical instruments.

/n• 1:1 patient ratio for all surgical cases
/n• On-call requirements: staff self-schedule 1-2 on-call shifts per week
/n• Weekend coverage through 24-hour on-call Saturday and Sunday
/n• Weekday on-call begins at end of regular shift (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
/n• 30-minute response time required for on-call situations
/n• Must have 2 years OR circulating experience at acute care hospital
/n• Must have CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience
/n• Varied skill set required including General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Robotics
/n• CNOR certification preferred along with 5+ years experience
/n• Handle heavy robotics, gynecological, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures
/n• Float to preoperative holding area as needed
/n• Required certification: BLS
/n• Hospital-provided scrubs required
/n• Artificial nails, dips, and gels not permitted
/n• Must be flexible with ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment
/n• Work with Meditech ORM electronic medical record system
