Boeing is looking for an Aerodynamic Stability & Control Engineer to support BDS programs in Hazelwood, MO. The Mosquito Control Inspector for the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division is an hourly position that engages in routine field inspection work in the control and extermination of mosquitoes. Incumbent is responsible for mosquito control and surveillance activities to aid the County's larvicide and adulticide programs.
Work involves responsibility for making inspections of suspected mosquito breeding places in residential and rural areas. Work follows established routines with specific instructions received from superiors on all new assignments. Work includes collecting and identifying mosquito species in the field, recording all daily activities, updates data, and reports mosquito problems to supervisor as needed in a timely manner. Incumbent utilizes appropriate control method(s), applies the control method(s) in accordance with the applicable laws and Broward County policy. Work is reviewed by the incidence of public complaints against mosquito nuisance and field inspections by supervisors. This position involves routine and frequent exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals. The ability to wear an appropriately-fitted respirator mask and other personal protective equipment are requirements for this position.

SCOPE OF WORK

SCOPE OF WORK
Responds to complaint calls in order of priority to, set traps, capture loose, stray, sick, injured, or abandoned animals; investigate animal abuse, neglect, and/or nuisance.
Conducts general investigations of animal related problems including, but not limited to animal cruelty and neglect, aggressive and dangerous dogs, animals running at-large, barking, permitting, licensing and impounding of animals all which may involve hostile, irate or distressed members of the public, in a tactful, professional and effective manner.
Patrols an assigned zone in order to identify/capture stray animals, responds to calls/complaints, and enforces animal care ordinances; captures a variety of animals in order to protect the community and to protect animals from injury/death.
Apprehends and confines stray, injured, aggressive/dangerous and nuisance animals in the most safe, humane and approved manner possible. Transports animals to sheltering facility and/or veterinary clinic.
Performs routine medical procedures/evaluation upon animals while in the field including but not limited to, conducts basic medical triage as needed; euthanize animals if necessary and permitted; and administers first-aid when necessary.

Role Description
Perform duties necessary to monitor accurate tracking and valuation of product inventory. Includes other duties related to inventory consisting of reporting, analysis, and support and training for other staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the Inventory Master file and ensuring compliance to policy and procedure. Reviewing for consistency and identification of discontinued products.
- System Administration for the Warehousing and Manufacturing Modules of the ERP.
- Data Extraction from ERP System for Inventory Transactions and Troubleshooting.
- Set up of new process in ERP system for tracking of Inventory. System enhancements, updates, and conversions.
- Prepares and directs routine cycle counts of specific inventory products and consumable supply items. This includes all ethanol inventories required for external reporting compliance at least monthly.
- Directs full physical count of all inventories (Finished Good, Raw Materials, Packaging, and Consumable Supply Items) on a scheduled basis. Reconciles physical count to perpetual count in accounting system. Requires travel to facilities.
- Research with operations reported or identified inventory discrepancies to determine root cause and process improvements for product quantities and costing.
- Responsible to determine the need to make adjusting transactions to correct inventory balances, correcting either on hand quantities and/or average cost as needed, ensuring lot numbers and representation in transaction history is properly documented.
- Prepares and reviews the Dead Stock/Slow Moving/NC Report and works with operations to formulate a game plan for the use or disposal of the products.
- Responsible for maintenance of product formulas and their revisions in the ERP system at the direction of production, sales, and/or quality control. This includes the listing of specific work instructions and process/product related notations.
- Responsible for understanding tracking and reporting requirements of TTB and preparation of monthly ethanol flow reports.
- Sets up new products, blend products and packaging items applying standard procedures for required fields in ERP system. Verifies that existing product codes do not already exist and explores other options like the addition of a formula version or a customer-product as an alternative. Distributes product information and product codes to sales, purchasing, compliance and customer service.
- Routinely reviews labor and overhead costing rates and application to production formulas. Through observation and discussion with operations and sales personnel, tracks and analyze the labor, analytical costs, other consumable elements associated with completion of production activities.
- Confers and coordinates with CFO and other interested parties to prepare for absorption rate changes.
- Provides training, support and backup as needed to employees interacting with inventory transactions from Receiving to Invoicing, and product returns for all facilities.
- Audits inventory related transactions to ensure proper recording in system, to include receivers, production posting, location transfers, lot identification and labeling.
- Works with various departments, including Purchasing, Production, Accounts Payable and General Ledger to resolve inventory processing questions and issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify when more information is required and where processes can be improved.

Qualifications

The Electrical Quality Control Inspector 1 is responsible for following the M.C. Dean Quality Control (QC) Program to achieve and verify quality expectations for a durable and reliable installation. The Quality Control Officer is responsible for performing field inspections to ensure work is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance and conformance with project or contract specifications
- Conduct inspections in accordance with Quality Control Plan

- Participate in the daily Operational Risk Management (ORM) meetings ensuring Quality items/issues for the scope of the work are discussed and present at least 2-3 quality tips of the day relevant to the scope of work.
- Document daily QC reports
- Understand and follow all applicable quality system procedures, performing all assigned responsibilities outlined in the QMS.
- Perform Receiving (REC), First Article (FAI), In-Process (IP) and Final Inspections (FI) on electrical and mechanical assemblies visually and/or with inspection equipment.
- Immediately notify operators, or supervision of any non-conformances in products
- Perform all quality reporting requirements outlined in the MCD Quality Management System (including the inspection checklists, Data Collection Reports (PDCR), hold logs, discrepancy notices, waiver logs etc.) Identify for segregation nonconforming units following the MCD Nonconformance procedure for prefabricated and purchased products.
- Assist in the training of operators and provide guidance.
- Assist in the problem-solving process.
- Participate in the Daily ORM work briefings to represent the Quality Portion.
- Assist in root cause, corrective and preventive action development for systemic issues.
- Advise appropriate party of any corrective action to be taken.
- Coordinate with supervisor to ensure all shifts are covered appropriately in case of absence of an inspector.
Qualifications
Experience / Education Required:
- Associates Degree in Technical Discipline (may be substituted for quality related experience)
- At least 4 years hands-on experience in the electrical industry
- To possess or have the ability to obtain a Journeyman License within 6 months of hire
- Experience with reading and interpreting contractual requirements, drawings, BIM models, specifications, current NEC codes, NETA and other applicable standards
- Experience with receiving, production, shipping and quality processes
- Excellent communication skills (written, and verbal)
- Strong attention to details, highly organized and computer literate
