- The ED is a Level II trauma center, and sees a wide variety of cases, however, major trauma, cardiac, neurosurgery and other critical cases are transported to a tertiary care center.
- The physicians and nursing staff are specially trained in emergency medicine.
- The department has one trauma room and 11 exam rooms.
- Although patients are seen in order of severity of illness, a PA or Nurse Practitioner may see patients with less urgent needs.
- The ER physicians develop their own schedules, generally working three 12-hour shifts one week, and four the next.
- In addition to working a full-time schedule, they can offer a flexible staffing model, such as per diem, and part-time; working site visits are welcomed.
- The Medical Center is one of four rural hospitals in the County; the Emergency Department boasts the highest Emergency Medicine volume of all four hospitals.

Ensure the overall coordination of home health services provided to the patient is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice and company procedures. Ensure the overall coordination of hospice services provided to the patient is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice and company procedures. Review and approve patient information submitted by the licensed professional during a start of care, recertification, resumption of care, or evaluation visit. Facilitate the relationship between physicians, referral sources, patients, caregivers, and employees.

Qualifications

* Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
* Must be licensed in the state in which they currently practice, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for nurse licensure compact for the state in which they practice.
* Must have two years of nursing experience.
* Must have one year experience in home health or hospice.
* Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern a home care operation.
* Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

* Previous experience in management is preferred.
