This is not a traditional QA role.

You will be the person shaping how quality works across both bespoke project software and productised platforms, working at the intersection of creative technology, interactive development, and real-world deployment.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, technologists, and storytellers — and play a critical role in making sure what we build launches smoothly, runs reliably, and delivers the “wow” moment every time.

The Role

As QA Engineer, you will take ownership of testing across our software ecosystem — from interactive front-end applications to internal tools and content management systems.

You’ll work across two distinct types of work:

• Experience-driven projects — bespoke, fast-moving, highly creative builds where every delivery is different
• Product platforms — repeatable, structured software that must meet strict quality and reliability standards

This role requires someone who can operate independently, define processes, and build QA capability as the team continues to grow.

You will be the go-to person for quality, helping us move from reactive testing to a scalable, repeatable, and well-defined QA practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own QA across both project-based and product-based software development
• Test interactive applications, CMS tools, and internal platforms across front-end and back-end environments
• Build and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks
• Define QA processes that work for both structured products and fast-moving creative projects
• Manage test data and environments to support reliable testing
• Work closely with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues quickly
• Support deployment, versioning, regression, and release workflows
• Produce clear documentation for internal teams and client delivery
• Help establish QA standards as the software team continues to scale

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in QA / software testing across web, native, or interactive applications
• Comfortable working independently as the primary QA specialist
• Experience with automated testing tools or scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Understanding of QA methodology, regression testing, and deployment workflows
• Ability to work across both structured products and bespoke project builds
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams
• Clear communicator, able to work with developers, designers, and technical directors
• Experience working on Windows environments

What You will Do

• You will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
• You will be responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions, and subsequently conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performance
• You will work in a team environment, receiving input from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team members
• You will collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities according to the program schedule

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience
• Experience applying object-oriented software design and programming in C or C++
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for evaluation of data sets
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, and/or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Genset Control Systems Engineer to support the development and enhancement of generator set (genset) control systems. This role focuses on system-level design, validation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, safe, and high-performance control solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in machinery control systems, system engineering processes, and end-to-end product development using the V-model lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

System Engineering & Design

• Develop and enhance genset control systems using a structured systems engineering approach (V-model).
• Gather and define system requirements through use cases, stakeholder interviews, and analysis.
• Review existing designs and create system-level architecture and approach documents.
• Update system and software design documentation, including:
• Baseboard control systems
• HMI interfaces
• Tool interfaces and user manuals

Analysis & Risk Management

• Perform and review Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure system safety and robustness.
• Identify design gaps and recommend improvements aligned with performance and safety standards.

Testing & Validation

• Develop detailed test plans to validate system design and requirements.
• Conduct or coordinate:
• Design-level testing (bench setup validation)
• System-level testing (on genset/machine for real-world performance)
• Analyze test results, log defects, and coordinate issue resolution and retesting.
• Ensure full test coverage and closure of all validation activities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead and participate in design reviews with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with software developers, service teams, and global engineering teams for implementation support.

Project Management

• Develop and manage task schedules and project timelines.
• Track progress and proactively escalate risks or delays.

Safety & Compliance

Required Qualifications

As a Hardware Test Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a key part of the Hardware Test team. This is a small team of broadly experienced engineers that strive to ensure that all hardware being produced meets the stringent requirements for aviation. Hardware Test Engineers are one of the essential interfaces between the design, production, and flight test teams and are exposed to a wide variety of technical challenges.

You will be creating automated test stands to replicate extreme flight conditions on our hardware and mechanisms that will serve as the backbone of our qualification testing. You will help to break our development hardware, help root-cause the failure modes, and provide critical input in redesigning it. You will be writing the software and building the hardware platforms for the command, control and data collection systems that will test our systems to rigorous aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the design, build, and maintenance of mechanical or electrical test stands for development testing, production acceptance testing, functional and environmental qualification testing

• Automate the repetitive aspects of the test stands

• Author, execute, and audit test plans, procedures, and reports

• Work closely with design engineers and flight test engineers to design, build, test and improve flight hardware

Basic Success Criteria

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
