As a Ride Control Systems Security Engineer you will work within Walt Disney Imagineering’s Ride Studio on multiple ride attraction projects and are responsible for network architecture and cyber security design and implementation activities on new ride projects for installation in all our parks across the globe.  Join us in a highly collaborative and self-directed atmosphere to lead efforts applying leading edge network technology on Disney rides!

You will report to the Ride Controls Systems Engineering Executive

This is a full time role.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead Operational Technology (OT)/ Industrial Control Systems (ICS) network architecture and cyber security systems development, design, and implementation for automation and embedded control systems on a wide variety of large-scale, highly complex, and innovative ride systems
  • Perform engineering design and analysis for ride system networks, with focus on automation system architecture
  • Design and test cyber security solutions and network architectures for ride systems
  • Design, model, and analyze data network communication systems
  • Research and test new products, technologies, and methodologies and conduct trade-off studies
  • Prepare and propose new cyber security and network architecture concepts and standards
  • Lead standards and policies development for ride control network and cyber security architectures
  • Collaborate with and support project teams on network requirements, implementation, and issues
  • Collaborate with attraction development teams to design and deliver ride networks
  • Develop and analyze OT network performance requirements for high availability real-time system

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience with design, engineering, installation, and commissioning of highly networked automation, process control, and industrial control systems
  • At least 3 years of experience in network systems design, installation and configuration
  • At least 3 years of experience with Linux and Windows system administration experience
  • Demonstrated experience in network design and analysis approaches to ensure and balance network availability, performance, resiliency and security
  • Knowledge of wired and short-range wireless communication networks used in high availability industrial and embedded applications
  • Solid understanding of communication technologies/protocols: TCP/IP, CAN, Serial, ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, 802.11
  • Demonstrated experience in wireless communications for control and monitoring high-availability safety critical systems

  • Ability to travel and work both domestically and internationally, for varying durations that could be up to 3 months

The hiring range for this position in California is $129,300 to $173,300. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Job Description:

Onondaga Community College's School of Health, Wellness and Human Services seeks applicants for a full-time tenure track appointment within the Health Information Technology, AAS and Healthcare Administration AS programs. The major responsibilities within this role include support of the two programs through the development and delivery of content and learning activities in the traditional face-to-face classroom setting, academic advising, curriculum development, committee participation, and assessment of program and student learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

• Use appropriate technology to deliver and enhance learning
• Be innovative in the presentation of lectures and hands-on learning activities that achieve learning outcomes
• Provide timely feedback on students' assignments and exams throughout each semester
• Assess learning outcomes and adapt curriculum to meet learning objectives
• Be responsive to student questions and available for student support
• Demonstrate insight and encouragement in working with diverse student populations, especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education
• Review and validate current affiliation agreements while exploring new opportunities for partnerships for student internships with local and regional community agencies
• Provide appropriate academic advising to students to support timely degree completion
• Be accountable to meet the needs of the Department and the College, including timely submission of grades and other required materials.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Option 1:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent
• RHIA credential (Registered Health Information Administrator)

Option 2:

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent
• Supported by:
• Associate's degree in Health Information Technology with RHIT credential (Registered Health Information Technician) and a Bachelor's degree in a related health field; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics
• Three years of experience in a healthcare delivery system required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching experience at a college level, asynchronous online experience beneficial
• Master's degree from an accredited college, university, or foreign equivalency
• Experience with curriculum development
• Experience with course level, program level, and institutional assessment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered

Additional Information:

• Salary for Assistant Professor level is $59,676

Job Summary

The SMT Engineering Tech will be responsible for supporting the surface mount technology (SMT) production lines, ensuring efficient operation, high-quality output, and continuous improvement through troubleshooting, maintenance, and process optimization.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, screen printers, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
- Monitor SMT production processes to identify and resolve issues related to component placement, solder paste application, and reflow profiles.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on SMT machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Assist engineers in the development and implementation of new SMT processes, equipment, and materials.
- Interpret and analyze SMT process data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance SMT line efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, process parameters, and production issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the SMT department.

Job Qualifications

- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with SMT production lines and equipment.
- Strong understanding of SMT processes, including solder paste deposition, component placement, reflow soldering, and AOI.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various SMT equipment (e.g., Fuji, MyData, Universal, MPM, DEK, Koh Young, Mirtec).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and production teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610) is a plus.
