The Ride Control Systems Engineer will report to the Executive Ride Control Systems Engineer.

This is a full time role.

What You Will Do:

• Manage entire scope to conceive, design, & deliver control systems for a wide variety of complex and innovative ride systems and related equipment
• Conduct systems engineering for ride control systems
• Define system use cases and user needs
• Develop and capture requirements and functional specifications in documents, drawings, and models
• Ensure compliance with control system safety standards
• Perform engineering design and analysis for ride control systems
• Develop control strategies and algorithms
• Research new products, technologies, and methodologies
• Design, model, and analyze control systems, data communication, and dynamic systems
• Collaborate with other design and engineering professionals to implement ride control systems
• Develop implementation plans and budgets
• Develop and implement mock-ups and prototypes for proof-of concept efforts
• Develop test requirements and documents, and lead testing efforts

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years experienced in fail-safe and safety-related control system design
• Extensive knowledge of control processors, components, and communication networks
• Highly proficient in industrial control system installation, integration, and commissioning
• Solid understanding of communication protocols: TCP/IP, CAN, serial, ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT
• Experience with requirements management, test plans/procedures, and test execution
• Demonstrated practice in functional safety standards, including IEC 61508, IEC 62061, ISO 13849
• Familiarity with amusement and automation industry standards, including ASTM F2291
• Solid skills in technical document writing
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for 1-week to 3-year durations
• Ability to handle multiple complex efforts simultaneously, coordinate team efforts, and manage tasks and priorities

The Senior Organizational Development and Training Specialist is an integral member of the Talent Development and Learning (TDL) team, contributing to initiatives that enhance leadership effectiveness and drive organizational success. This role focuses on executing and supporting organizational development and learning strategies, including culture transformation, talent optimization, and leadership capability building. Working collaboratively with service line leaders, VPs, and team members, the Specialist uses data-driven approaches to implement impactful development initiatives and align leadership practices with the organization’s mission and vision. Education Requirements

Bachelor degree required. Masters preferred.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $106108 - $159161 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. How will you make an impact?

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Controls Engineer to lead the development, optimization and implementation of advanced control systems across critical infrastructure products and automation platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of critical systems, with a strong emphasis on data center infrastructure, power/energy management, and industrial automation.

This role will involve designing and developing wiring harness systems, including schematic creation, harness architecture, panel layout, developing specifications, selecting key components, and transitioning design to manufacturing. Furthermore, the position includes leading test process implementation and ensuring equipment alignment to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and reliability.

What will you do?

• Define and own the control system architecture across multiple platforms, including PLCs, BMS, EPMS, and ATS systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop detailed control system specifications, functional design documents, and interface definitions for all subsystems.
• Proficiency in PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, and system integration with IT networks and facility equipment.
• Ability to read and create BOMs. visual aids, electrical schematics, control diagrams, and sequence of operations.
• Define control logic, sensor integration, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, SNMP) for intelligent power and cooling management.

In this versatile service engagement, the expert will be responsible for the successful operation and functional evolution of People systems, specifically Workday HCM, Absence Management, and Compensation.
