Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between automation engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

Position description
The mission of the Center for Global Public Health (CGPH) is to advance health equity through interdisciplinary research, education, and strategic partnerships. CGPH works to support and administer academic programs that contribute to this mission, addressing pressing global health challenges and, with faculty across campus and at the School of Public Health (SPH), particularly advancing the global public health research agenda.
The CGPH fosters collaboration across sectors and borders, supporting numerous education-focused programs for UCB students that enhance faculty research and other initiatives aimed at translating evidence into action, particularly for under-resourced and historically marginalized populations.
The Academic Coordinator will have primary responsibility for the administration and coordination of CGPH initiatives, working closely with the faculty directors and executive director to manage, plan, and advance global health training efforts, research grant writing, event planning, and communication initiatives. This position is for an individual interested in the intersection of global public health research and education, academic administration, and grants management.
Reporting to the CGPH Faculty Director and Executive Director, the Academic Coordinator's responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the growth and implementation of global health education/training programs -in particular, the CGPH summer research fellowship program, the UCB Global Public Health and Equity Certificate program, and Program Events/Activities supporting the curriculum/training development of students in these two programs.
- Grant writing and proposal development: Monitor both solicited and unsolicited calls for research proposals and grant applications from a variety of funding sources (e.g., federal, state, foundations, corporate, HNWI). Coordinate with SPH, CGPH faculty/affiliates, and other UC networks to circulate and respond toopportunities. Support fundraising strategies and activities to cultivate relationships with potential donors and philanthropic initiatives.
- Collaborating with CGPH faculty to synthesize global public health research through the CGPH website and newsletter. Maintain the CGPH website with current and relevant content, including faculty profiles, event information, research highlights, and program details. Provide logistical and planning support for events (e.g., seminars, meetings, workshops, dinners) that align with CGPH's strategic areas.
- Duties will include involvement in a range of complex, multifaceted problems that require both administrative acumen and subject matter expertise, with key collaborators on logistical and operational program issues.
- Synthesize complex, evolving global health data and pedagogical frameworks to design responsive academic programming and student engagement opportunities.
- Crafting interdisciplinary initiatives that align regional priorities with global health goals that require innovative thinking, cultural fluency, and system-level insight.

This unique and highly visible position, reports to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) with additional reporting relationship to the Medical Director, Womens Health Services.

The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. About the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies
This newly launched school will further position Georgia Tech as an international leader in research, education, and community and industry engagement at the intersection of arts, technology, and design. The school's pedagogical approach will integrate artistic foundations, technical innovation, and creative entrepreneurship. The school will leverage Georgia Tech's existing strengths in areas ranging from artificial intelligence and student startups to digital media and music technology, adopt the culture of practice-based studio pedagogy in the College of Design, and build sustained partnerships with creative studios, technology providers, startup companies, nonprofits, and artists-in-residence taking advantage of Atlanta's thriving creative ecosystem.

The College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of the founding Chair of the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking a visionary, creative, and entrepreneurial academic leader who will develop a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for studying the intersection of arts practice and emerging technologies.
The chair will have the opportunity to shape a new school that will expand Georgia Tech's academic and research activities and reputation at the intersection of technology and the arts, with the opportunity for substantial impact within Georgia Tech, the state of Georgia, and beyond. The new chair will be expected to provide overall leadership and vision for the development of a comprehensive program of teaching and research and will oversee the hiring of new faculty for the school, as well as new internal joint appointments that might complement those already in place. Over time the Chair will oversee expanding the major to include a pre-college program and a minor and will help develop a vision to expand into a graduate degree.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a terminal degree or professional equivalency related to the intersection of arts, entertainment, and creative technologies with a distinguished record of creative and/or scholarly achievement that typically qualifies for a tenured position at the rank of full professor.
Preferred Qualifications

Upward Bound Project ACE:
The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) program is designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete high school education and graduate from institutions of post-secondary (college, technical) education. Our goal is to recruit participants into the Upward Bound program, retain them, graduate them, and get them ready for post-secondary education admittance and graduation.
The Opportunity:
The Academic Support Coordinator II is a highly studentfacing position within UCF's TRIO Upward Bound Project ACE. It supports lowincome, firstgeneration high school students at Apopka High School by providing academic advising, coordinating collegereadiness programming, facilitating workshops, and maintaining strong relationships with school partners and families. Responsibilities:

Tracks students' academic progress, including advising, course selection, and graduation requirements, while developing and monitoring Individual Academic Plans (IAPs). Reviews report cards and academic performance to create tailored academic success plans for students.
Designs and delivers a college readiness curriculum, including workshops on college access, financial literacy, career exploration, and family engagement. Researches and stays updated on higher education trends to enhance evidence-based decision-making for student success.
Maintains accurate student records, updates participation data in the Blumen database, and documents student involvement in project services. Analyzes data and generates monthly reports to inform the Manager of program progress and areas for improvement.
Implements recruitment, orientation, interviews, and intake processes to enroll the required number of students as mandated by the Department of Education. Establishes and maintains relationships with target schools, community stakeholders, and families to support outreach efforts.
Coordinates and participates in academic, social, and cultural events such as college yours, community service, and leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership activities. Develops and supervises the student leadership committee to enhance student engagement and personal development.
Assists in planning and executing both the academic year and summer programs to ensure high-quality student experiences. Develops and distributes a monthly program newsletter to keep students and parents informed of upcoming opportunities and achievements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with high school students, particularly first-generation, at-risk, and low-income students.
Program development experience related to advising, student support, and/or career planning.
Demonstrated skill in delivering presentations or workshops.
Experience with TRIO or other federally funded academic access programs.
Prefer candidate with the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish in order to work effectively with customers and team members.

Position description
The School of Journalism is recruiting for a Director of Special Academic Programs (Academic Coordinator I). This position will be responsible for coordinating the School's summer undergraduate minor, overseeing the undergraduate program overall, helping with coordination of the California Newsroom Fellowship program, and managing other special academic programs.
50% of this position will be dedicated to managing the Undergraduate Minor. The Director (AC) will work with the Undergraduate Advisor and Journalism Staff to manage the undergraduate minor program over Summer 2026 and Summer 2027. The AC will manage all of the academic administration for the program, which includes: working with the Associate Dean to review applicants and participate in interviews; helping to manage Academic Student Employees (ASEs); working with Summer Sessions to advertise classes and participate in workshops or other trainings; leading orientation and training for summer lecturers; and assisting summer lecturers with a variety of academic matters, including curriculum planning, evaluating exceptional student requests, training instructors on the Learning Management Software (known as bCourses), handling classroom incidents or referring to the appropriate campus departments, facilitating incomplete grades resolution, facilitating grade appeals process including informal resolution, and assisting with DSP exam proctoring.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Program Administration & Student Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the minor, including student enrollment, scholarship arrangements, and information dissemination.
- Serve as the primary liaison for curriculum planning, working with the executive and curriculum committees to ensure core and elective course availability.
- Lead program promotion, managing communications, and maintaining the website.
Summer Session Management:
- Serve as the key lead for Summer Sessions, managing hiring, class coordination, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the Undergraduate Advisor, Journalism staff, AP Analyst, and Student Services team to meet hiring deadlines for instructors and Academic Student Employees (ASE).
- The AC will work through August 30, 2027 to see the completion of summer session appointments and help instructors with final grade submissions & final offboarding.
Expansion & Access:
- Drive significant expansion of enrollment for the minor.
- Explore establishing the minor as a system-wide offering accessible to other UC students.
- Develop a professional pipeline, including pre-college course offerings for high school students.
- Work to establish a 4+1 BA/MJ degree to facilitate access to graduate-level Journalism education.
- Explore expanding the minor into a full undergraduate major.
- Curriculum & Content: Act as a crucial thought partner to continuously update the curriculum, ensuring it reflects new technologies and political realities within the rapidly evolving journalism industry.
Faculty Engagement:
- Help maintain and increase engagement with the teaching faculty, including Berkeley Senate professors and journalists from top newsrooms.
25% of this position will be dedicated to supporting the California News Fellowship program. The AC will have a central role in the Fellowship Program and its integration with the wider curriculum. Responsibilities include managing the admissions and selection process, such as reviewing applications and participating in the selection of each new cohort. The AC will also review the annual operations handbook to identify development opportunities. Crucially, the AC acts as a system overseer for the fellowship, bridging training opportunities with the graduate curriculum. The AC will be a key thought partner and leader in creating a partnership between the fellowship and the undergraduate minor program, exploring collaborations like joint projects and developing shared training opportunities.
25% of this position will be dedicated to managing the School's other special academic programs which includes the Business Journalism Certificate Program, and the Masters of Journalism/Masters Public Health. The AC would take ownership of these programs and would manage the coordination of all of our special graduate programs as needed across the curriculum.
Possibility of reappointment may be considered based on performance and need of the School.

About The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering
The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is a department within the College of Engineering at Georgia Tech and the School of Medicine at Emory University. Our community includes a student body of ~1,200 undergraduates and ~400 graduate students as well as more than 150 faculty and staff. One of the largest BME programs in the US, we graduate the most URM and Female biomedical engineers in the country. The BME department currently employs about 90 total faculty, including 5 Academic Professional track faculty, 10 Lecturer track faculty, and 5 Professors of the Practice.
Since the departments founding in 2000 the unique partnership between two of the nation's leading public and private entities has been an engine for innovative research and education. The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is hiring for an Academic Faculty (Academic Professional Track) position titled Director of Learning Innovation (DLI). A position of this type, with slightly varying titles, throughout the history of the department by 5 different people. Success in this position involves achieving three objectives: (1) Foster a culture of evidence-based teaching practices and curricular innovation, (2) improve our understanding of engineering education using educational research methods, and (3) build the national profile of the department as a leader in biomedical engineering education. We expect the focus of work in this role to be primarily the department's top ranked undergraduate program, but engaging with the graduate program may also be possible or needed. We estimate the breakdown of the Director of Learning Innovation to be approximately 15% research; 35% administration; 30% teaching and 20% service, detailed below.
Responsibilities
TEACHING (30%)
We expect the DLI's teaching responsibility to be serving as the course director for Problems in Biomedical Engineering (BMED2250). BMED2250, typically taken undergraduate's second year, uses a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach to guide students through the development of potential solutions to a broad single-disease-focused design challenge. A similar course has been a cornerstone of the department's undergraduate curriculum since its establishment and are described in work by Newstetter (2006). The course is offered during Fall and Spring semesters and enrolls around 150 students per semester in 5 to 6 `studio sections with a weekly lecture. Critically, the course also serves to enculturate faculty to the department's philosophy of teaching. The course director is responsible for overall coordination of course instruction, managing the lecture portion of the class, training TAs and Faculty facilitators, and typically facilitating 1 studio section. Depending on the candidates background and interests, other teaching assignments may be possible.
ADMINISTATION (35%)
Achieving the three objectives for the DLI position will require the candidate to integrate curricular leadership and educational research. As a departmental leader, the DLI is responsible for identifying and guiding opportunities for curricular improvements, especially through the translation of leading educational research. They will also mentor individual faculty throughout the department about teaching, evidence-based teaching, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning research. To do so, the DLI will work closely with other leaders in the department, TT and NTT faculty, and the Director of Faculty and Student Training.
RESEARCH (15%)
The DLI will also be expected to engage in research and research dissemination. A major focus of that work is likely to be scholarship related to their innovation work. However, they are encouraged to pursue related research independent of active innovation projects as well. Successful candidates will be those that look for both traditional and novel opportunities for scholarly dissemination. We have a special interest in candidates who can build strong relationships to share research results and promote our innovation work across Georgia Tech, biomedical engineering, and engineering education. The DLI will be encouraged to pursue external funding both to support programmatic change efforts and their own research. The department has a history of receiving funding from NIH, NSF, and KEEN to support programmatic curricular change efforts.
SERVICE (20%)
All department faculty are assigned to one to two departmental committees. It is expected that the DLI will be routinely assigned as a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and/or the departments Faculty Learning Committee (a yearly community of practice faculty development opportunity). The DLI will also be encouraged to pursue opportunities for professional service.

Position description
The Assistant Dean for Academic Planning (ADAP) supports the Law School's pedagogical mission by helping to create and coordinate the curriculum for all Law students, including the J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D. programs, to provide them with the legal knowledge and skills necessary to become effective legal practitioners, scholars, and public policy advocates. The ADAP must have substantive expertise in legal education and the administrative and management skills to play a leading role in strategic planning for curriculum development, including course offerings, hiring and allocation of instructors, etc., as well as for the development of policies to improve efficiencies, ensure equity, and promote our educational mission. In addition, the ADAP will help to select and present professional and substantive programming on legal pedagogy. In sum, the core responsibilities of this position are critical to support the development and administration of the educational mission of the Law School.
Duties
The ADAP has four distinct areas of responsibility:
Curriculum planning
- The ADAP works with the Associate Dean for Teaching to identify faculty who can fulfill core curricular needs and to identify courses to be taught by lecturers and visiting faculty.
- The ADAP is primarily responsible for our ABA-required legal ethics curriculum and works with the six lecturers who teach large sections of those courses to ensure that their courses meet the ABA requirements and address current legal ethics issues.
- The ADAP is primarily responsible for identifying courses and hiring instructors for our LL.M. curriculum, which serves approximately 265 students per year in our academic year and additional students in Executive Track programs (Remote + Summer and Two-Summer).
- The ADAP works particularly closely with the staff of the Office of the Registrar on almost every aspect of the course scheduling process to ensure that courses meet ABA and law school academic requirements, and have clear course descriptions and grading rubrics.
Lecturer hiring and review
- The ADAP assists with the Lecturer Hiring and Review Committee, which hires all lecturers, and reviews continuing appointment and merit cases, recommending dispositions to the Dean.
- The ADAP meets bi-monthly with the HR Academic Analysts and the Associate Dean for Teaching to review issues with lecturer hiring and advancement, and is the primary point of contact with lecturers regarding these issues.
The ADAP meets with newly-hired lecturers to assist with course design and syllabus preparation. - The ADAP provides support to lecturers in their teaching and is available for individual consultation to discuss best practices for course development and pedagogy.
- The ADAP administers the course evaluation process and meets with lecturers and faculty to improve their teaching.
Programmatic supervision
- The ADAP supervises all lecturers teaching J.D., LL.M., and J.S.D. courses.
- The ADAP oversees our J.D. Writing program and supervises the 12 full-time lecturers who teach the ABA-required Legal Research and Writing (LRAW) program in the Fall and Spring.
- The ADAP directly supervises the Director of LL.M. Legal Writing (AC1), who oversees approximately 19 part-time lecturers who teach Legal Research and Writing for LL.M.s during the Fall semester.
- The ADAP directly supervises the Director of Field Placements (a lecturer with continuing status), the Director of Pro Bono Programs (AC1), the Director of Competitions (AO3), and the Director of UCDC (AC1), as well as the staff that report to them.
Budget Management
- The ADAP oversees seven separate budgets for different programs at the Law School, including the Experiential Education budget, the J.D. Legal Writing Instructor budget, the Competitions budget, and the Field Placement Program budget. Specifically, the ADAP has the following, budget-related responsibilities:
- Management of the unit's budget, including compensation and non-compensation operating expenses;
- Participation in the annual budget review process and setting of strategic goals for the unit in consultation with the Dean, Associate Dean, and others;
- Reviewing periodic budget updates and making mid-year, budget-related adjustments as needed;
- Working with direct reports to ensure they are on track to remain within approved budgets and provide guidance;
- Using and interpreting budgetary information as needed to make programmatic and staffing decisions;
- Evaluation of complex financial and budgetary information in order to evaluate program performance, needs, or proposed changes, and to respond to Law School and campus requests for information related to expenses and revenue for programs.

Position Structure
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) outpatient-only GME Core Faculty position.
Appropriate protected non-clinical time will be provided for duties including resident education, curriculum development, accreditation support, and scholarly activity. Additional time may be allocated for specific academic activities at the discretion of the program and aligned with institutional priorities.
Additional inpatient clinical shifts may be available on an optional basis outside of the regular outpatient schedule.
