ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Timely and proper inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation of customer equipment in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and that is consistent with Rite-Hite's image as the industry leader in customer service.
Develop and maintain good customer relations in a manner that exemplifies Rite-Hite's image and commitment to customer service.
Compliance with all company policies and safety guidelines.
Perform installation, inspection, and repair of equipment in the field in an expeditious manner while assuring the customer's needs are met and exceeded. This is mainly accomplished individually but may sometimes be accomplished in small teams.
As skills and knowledge develop, guide other Technicians with less skills/knowledge through complex problems in the field. This may include training other Service Technicians in the proper field installation, service and repair of equipment and proper administrative procedures instilling Rite-Hite's commitment to customer service.
Using the handheld devices (or paper backup forms if needed) accurately complete all necessary paperwork associated with field service, repair, and installation, including service tickets, timesheets, open job tracking form and safety analysis sheets.
Maintain compliance with operation and communication standards as per the Field Technician Handbook.
This position requires the operation of a service vehicle in compliance with DOT Driver Qualification standards, as well as truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.
Follow all customer-specific requirements, policies, safety guidelines and directions on their work sites.
Work closely with all other departments in the company, communicating and coordinating activities to efficiently maximize customer satisfaction.
Occasional (under 20% annually) domestic overnight travel may be required for training, supporting customers at other offices, etc. may be required.
Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The successful individual will possess:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
One to five year's experience in repair and service of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
The ideal individual will demonstrate:
Service Technicians must have a valid drivers license
Passing DOT medical exam

• A mechanical engineer responsible for leading and providing hands-on mechanical support for the installation, start-up and debug of high-cable manufacturing process equipment. This includes working with a multi-functional team (mechanical, electrical, controls, facilities, IT, operations, etc.)
• Involves the application of mechanical principles encompassed in mechanics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, metallurgy, and machine design used for the design, production, operation, and use machinery of all types.
Requirements:
• Experience with high-speed cable manufacturing equipment is a plus but not required (jacketing, ribbon stranding, buffering)
• Experience with mechanical equipment design, install, start-up and debug in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Managing mechanical and electrical trades executing equipment install and debug.
• Skilled with use of design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor)
• Knowledge of machine guarding and safety practices and standards (OSHA,
ANSI, ASME, etc) OSHA 30 Certification desired
• Good written and oral communication skills

We are looking for a Field Maintenance Install Technician (Experienced Ironworker) in our Anaheim location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work as part of team to install equipment. With a focus on safety and customer service.
- Accurately and neatly document work performed using a combination of electronic forms, software applications, and traditional handwritten reports where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel may be required to install sites.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Iron work/steel erection experience.
- Aptitude for either electrical or mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Comfort with working at heights
- Welding experience- Wire Feed (MIG), Stick (SMAW)
- Hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance or equivalent military experience a plus
- Competence in equipment operation. Reach forklifts, scissor lifts.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Proven commitment to safety
- Passion for doing things right the first time.
- Industry certifications including equipment operator, Welding, Rigging will be a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime is required
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must pass drug-screen and background check

Job summary: Leading all daily operations, the Branch Manager will oversee all fence projects both residentially and commercially, from start to finish. This role will be key in the organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of these projects. The selected candidate will provide unparalleled customer service to new and existing clients and ensure customer needs are met on a timely basis.
Job responsibilities and duties
- Manage and Schedule Plattsburgh Branch personnel including field and shop
- Serve as primary contact for customers, with the full understanding of individual project requirements.
- Check jobsites in preparation for estimate and, if sold, installation.
- Identify unsafe site conditions and advise crews of proper safe job procedures.
- Communicate with Purchasing Manager to order materials for projects
- Preform site visits for commercial and residential quote requests.
- Prepare job packets for crews and schedule underground utility checks.
- Stake fence-lines and insure project is ready for installation crews.
- Verify materials are staged for projects and ready for loading.
- Coordinate equipment assignment on a daily basis.
- Monitor crew progress on projects review man hours expended to budgeted man hours.
- Coordinate all change orders including documentation, approval and invoicing.
- Verify installed quantities for billing, coordinate invoice preparation with administrative department.
- Schedule inspection and acceptance of installed work.
- Identify and report improvement opportunities in every aspect of the division.
- Attend department meetings to maintain communication with all members of the team.
- Receiving Materials and coordination with purchasing
- Assist with hiring Plattsburgh personnel as needed
- Other responsibilities as directed or assigned.
