Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time. Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screeningto the transplant community.


As Senior Clinical Research Statistician you will be responsible for the design, validation, analysis and interpretation of clinical data from multiple registries in support of product development and business objectives. The position is based out of our Waltham office in the greater Boston area. There is an option to work in a hybrid environment, at least 3 days in-office is expected.



Position Responsibilities



  • Use advanced statistical methods to validate and analyze data
  • Write efficient code for processing data utilizing R statistical software.
  • Create processes for validating quality and accuracy of data.
  • Perform statistical programming and data analysis, as well as database cleaning, verification and validation, and quality review of statistical analyses
  • Manage resources, timelines and priorities for assigned projects
  • Work with clinical affairs staff and clinical investigators to determine appropriate study and protocol design
  • Provide statistical expertise to clinical affairs staff to ensure that the CRFs and database meet the study design needs
  • Responsible for statistical analysis plans (SAP) and development of tables/listings/figures for statistical reports
  • Prepare statistical methods and results sections for presentations, reports, and peer-reviewed manuscripts
  • Participate in preparing and writing statistical content for 501k, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and other FDA required reports
  • May be involved in analyses of 'big data' for market assessments, as well as from public sources (such as UNOS)

Experience



  • At least 4+ years (MS) or 6+ years (BS) of statistical work experience in a biomedical life science or medical device company, including programming using SAS or R statistical software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statistical methods
  • Prior healthcare or medical device industry experience
  • Proficiency in R programming skills in a clinical data environment with excellent analytical skills. Knowledge of other programming languages such as SAS, Python etc. is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with research and/or healthcare data.


Education


Bachelor's degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology or similar quantitative field of study, required.


Master's degree or higher in biostatistics, mathematics or related quantitative field of study preferred.


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


Transplant surgery /medical knowledge is a plus.


Experience or knowledge of FDA regulations or submissions is a plus.

The Quality Engineer I Quality Operations specializes in Quality Operations, and is responsible for overseeing and improving the quality of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing operations meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency while adhering to relevant regulations and industry best practices.



Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties



  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess manufacturing quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate/ Lead validation and verification activities for manufacturing processes, equipment, and software systems to ensure they meet quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address root causes and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Facilitate risk management activities related to manufacturing processes, identifying, and mitigating risks to product quality, safety, and efficacy.
  • Implement risk-based decision-making processes to prioritize quality activities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing processes, reducing defects, and optimizing productivity.
  • Utilize quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC), to drive process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO 13485, and other international standards.
  • Support both internal and external audits as an SME for Production & Process Controls and presents records of activities related to Design Transfer for New Product Development and Design Changes.


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or other related field is required.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing
and maintaining AMA's enterprise data platform to support analytics,
interoperability, and responsible AI adoption. This role partners closely with
platform engineering, data governance, data science, IT security, and business
stakeholders to deliver highquality, reliable, and secure data products. This
role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data
operations, and embedding governance and quality standards into engineering
workflows. This role serves as a
senior technical contributor within the team-providing mentorship to junior
engineers and implementing engineering best practices within the data platform function,
in alignment with architectural direction set by leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and
    ETL/ELT workflows supporting analytics, operational reporting, and AI/ML use
    cases.
  • Implement best practice patterns for ingestion,
    transformation, modeling, and orchestration within a modern lakehouse
    environment (e.g., Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Lake).
  • Develop highperformance

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $115,523.42-$150,972.44. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Position Summary


The Quality Control Technician II performs acceptance testing and inspection activities on in-process and finished goods to ensure products meet established requirements.   • Conductindependentreview of Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP) to verify completeness and accuracy prior to product release or further processing.

  • Ensure all testing is performed according to established procedures, protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:


* Maintenance and repair of computer driven electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in support of medical device production.


o Computer driven systems include proportional-integral-derivative (PID) operating controllers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and Human Machine Interface (HMI) automation.


o Sub-systems and components include electric drives, motors, electrical wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical panels, relays, printed circuit board circuitry, vacuum, and compressed air.


* Respond to emergency repair requests through troubleshooting, diagnosis, resumption of operation, and electronic documentation.


* Execute preventative/scheduled maintenance including planning of materials, parts, training, and other requirements to ensure work is executed in an efficient and timely manner.


* Document all work planned and performed in the computerized maintenance management system.


* Evaluate operation of equipment and instruments to conduct on-line adjustments. * Evaluate, quote, and order necessary replacement equipment, tools, and fixtures. * May develop or revise documents and procedures.


* Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.


Minimum Requirements :


* A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree or equivalent years of experience in Engineering, Science or related technical field is preferred


* 1-3 years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment is required; experience working in medical device manufacturing or other FDA regulated industry preferred.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :


* Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and plumbing diagrams to expertly troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment, electric drives, motors, basic wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics is required.


* Working knowledge of flow controls, valve selection, and pressure regulation.


* Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.


* Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.


* Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to take initiative.


* Working knowledge of equipment powered by 120, 208/230, and 480VAC electrical voltage is required.


* Experience with PLC/HMI and MS-DOS programming languages is preferred.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel or equivalent software applications is preferred.



The pay for this role is a minimum of $25 per hour ($52k/yr) and a maximum of $33 per hour ($68,640/yr).
